Looking for the cheapest possible flights to Europe / North Africa, and have the fortunate advantage of unlimited spare time and a certain degree of spontaneity? Then take a look below. REMEMBER - these prices are correct at this moment and only at this moment, delete your cookies after multiple searches, as SOME websites will increase the prices just for you! If you find a flight you like, that is not in the near future, create a skyscanner price alert for daily email updates, if it goes down, book it! Flights are generally cheapest 6 - 8 weeks before departure. I have learnt this through days of searching the web!

Check Skyscanner for the 'also see' options!

This list will be added to, it took a while to get this far! If you want to go elsewhere in Europe or anywhere, skyscannner is the best for comparing flights and price alerts! IF you find a better price for any of the above destinations, comment!

They do not use cookies to raise the price, this is a myth.

Cracking thread

Good tips heat for effort

i prefer kayak but skyscanner is good too

I don't understand the point of this?

Flight prices and availability change on a daily basis and this whole list will be out of date in 48 hours.

Everyone will have different destination preferences (beach/city/ski etc) and departure point preferences, it's all infinitely subjective.

These reasons are why search engines such as Skyscanner exist and why Teletext holidays providing a static list of (out of date and unavailable) fares does not.

It's as simple as going to Skyscanners website with instructions to set your local airport and then your destination as "everywhere". Choose month/year view and there are your options, tailored to your locale.

awesome info and thanks for the effort

Is the cookie issue true or just an urban myth?

HOT Work

WOW omg lol you must have spent ages cross referencing all these with Ryanair to check they were available at that price as i know skyscanner doesnt update that often lol jeepers i hope they dont change price any time soon on you lol

excellent deals

If possible can you list any deals going to amsterdam (AMS) airport (especially from Manchester)

of all the gazillion deals out there to the carribean, dubai, the far east etc most are always departing from Amsterdam

If you want to leave on Thursday, that will be £314 from Gatwick, or £315 on Thursday 30th!

I know! They change them all the time! Ive been getting alerts from skyscanner for a flight to Tromso, norway, changes everyday now by upton £10! Skyscanner usually under-estimates flights by a few quid, although it was wildly wrong for some of the long-haul flights I have looked at!

There aren't currently great value flights to Amsterdam, but if you leave on the 5th of March, you can fly from Manchester for £26 with Easyjet and then return on the 26th of March for £20

That's true, just some advice for people who are looking for flights now, and those who want to know how to find the cheapest option, and when to book. I'll try and update this and add more destinations, but yeah, skyscanner price alerts are your best bet

Great post

Well cooked op. Heat!!

Effort!

My current plan, which I have been planning for a week now with Ryanair. Have work holidays to use up in Feb:

London Stansted - Dortmund. Feb 21st, £24
Dortmund - Krakow Feb 23rd, £22
Krakow - Oslo Feb 25th, £22.50
Oslo -Stansted Feb 27th, £14.75.

Flights for less than £84, for a nice little week long round trip. Cant go wrong. Find cheap accom in hostels, wont spend more than £200 for the lot.

Effectively 1 full day in each city. Personally I think that's over doing it. If possible I'd do 2 out of 3 as you'll have more time enjoying rather than feel like you're constantly travelling.

heat for taking the time to find out all the dates and posting them

yeah, it can be frustrating how inaccurate skyscanner can be, you see a flight that looks good but as soon as you click on it the price hikes grrrr

Nice one..I am fortunate to be retired and use these offers..sorry to all the workers, keep grinding on you will get there eventually

Now if only I could find such great deals to USA. Cheapest I can find leaving near the end of june/start of july is £600 returning in 5-7 weeks.

You wrote so much for something that is likely to be shortlived? Great Effort tho, forcing me to choose a holiday!
+1

Head added for all the hard work

Gave heat for the effort and commitment. However, the title states that the cheapest return flights is from £12, when it is actually £24

Heated

Thanks for your effort. Heat added. I have used them before and they are excellent.

Its true. I've been through this

That doesn't happen.
There is no proof they raise their prices due to cookies etc.

I don't know if I'm doing it right but for
A trip to Varna (Bulgaria) from Manchester
On the 5th April and to return on the 13th it's coming up as £281 per person

libra_him

Its true. I've been through this

What's this cookie issue all about?

So that's where all the oil goes....

libra_him

its NOT true.the question was asked on a money saving TV programme last week and its nonsense, the reasons the flight prices go up is because they allocate so many seats at say £20,when they are gone they then have a lot of £30 seats and so forth, thats why the prices often go up,its because there is less avalibility since you visited the site because people have purchased the cheaper seats, the less seats the dearer they get.

They DO use cookies to hike the prices! If you find yourself the victim of this during a booking session e.g. the price goes up while you are checking out or the price you found in the evening is jacked later that evening, try using a different browser or clearing out your cookies and the price goes back down.

edit: O'Leary and his kin are obviously going to deny it, doh!
