Voted hot, A very good price and a 3 year warranty!

Expect this to go up in price if people start buying it.

No free delivery if you live in NI, the acer form amazon works out cheaper.

why is this funny

Thats very good! Pity it doesnt have a DVI connection though, that should be the norm now, unless an old design monitor.
Otherwise a good spec for the price.

Don't forget quidco;-)

What's so funny?

Probably something to do with ]this thread.

Does it have a SCART connection?

Try this one, (no speakers, does anyone use them anyway :-P) £97.52 del.

:-)

No...

For an extra tenner, you can get a Hanns G with a DVI connection and built in speakers from ]Amazon.

This is still available for under £99 for those with free delivery from scan.

It has DVI and speakers.

 It's a Monitor not an LCD TV, so why would it have a scart? Scart is about the worst connection out now, you should be looking at Component, HDMI and DVI.

I suppose immitation is the most sincerest form of flattery?

Ha ha because:

I saw the Acer posted and replied with another post. Sorry if I rained on that guys parade but...
The price for the Acer was good compared to other retailers, but it wasnt the cheapest I had seen for a 19" monitor. I didnt buy the ebuyer monitor but thought the post might help someone who is looking to buy a 19" monitor at a reasonable spec and cheap price. I dont think many people who buy this would be thinking about dvi connection as it would probably be an upgrade for an older computer. And with a 3 yr warranty who would worry about quality?

Let me know what you all think

A 3 yr warranty does'nt make up for crap quality - I'm not saying any of the monitors here are crap, just that most people will want the BEST possible quality for the least price. Don't confuse Quality with Reliability.

I'm another for the Hanns-G monitors, I got one for my kids at Christmas to hook up the 360 to, and it brilliant quality. The speakers are pants, anything other than PC system sounds and your after proper externals anyway.

I think it would make good sense to get as many features as one could afford - especialy things like DVI, otherwise during the course of constant upgrading the monitor would soon be out the window due to lack of DVI as it's head and shoulders above VGA. For the extra few quid one with DVI as well as VGA cost's I'm 100% sold on that being money well spent.

Simate. You have been caught red handed!

Give back Riz's Avi.
