This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Ideal for your price match at john Lewis or price beat at richer sounds.

They have shops and an advertised discount code.

Meaning it SHOULD be 679 at richer sounds.

No doubt it will be 650 soon now I've paid 689 !!

Ohh so tempted. This or the LG 😩
Will Richer Sounds price match even though Hughes only has the standard 1 year guarantee? I placed an order for a UE55NU8000 with them yesterday for £689, hence the question!

Most likely not
Would try the call centre rather than the shops for the price match.
They were awkward with rgb in store despite there being 5 year warranty as when you put it in the basket the 5 year warranty was 100 quid or more extra.

Worst case just john Lewis who are iffy with price matching rgb due to no shops

I tried to get RS to price match an Argos deal last week, they said they only match if guarantee is 5 years or more.
If only it was 10bit

I got mine yesterday from richer sounds with the hdmi and price beat at 689.

Doesn't get delivered till later in the week which hopefully covers me on cyber Monday if it goes down much further.
bex8525/11/2018 11:06

I Tried to order it this morning but no go

Why no go
johneboy0425/11/2018 11:07

Told me they couldn't deliver to me, even with a 21 day wait.
Can collect but then less cashback so not as good a deal and of course means trying to get to the store.

John Lewis agreed to price match the 699 RGB Direct deal for me, no problem. Have requested one for this now.

Keep 'em coming.
I’m not sure if you can use the BF10 code aswell for another £10 off?

They said no to me yesterday as it was only a 1 year warranty from TJ Hughes. It seems to depend on who you speak to as to what they'll give you.

Nu8070 is 10 bit

Be careful quoting online sources...

Today is a school for me, I've looked up some specs and they state it's 10 bit ( 8 bit + FRC), so is it fake 10 bit?

Wonder would we see the difference between them 10 bit v 8 + frc

Whilst I was contemplating the 50" Samsung deal, I have been swayed by the 55", who needs light coming through the window anyway! JL have price matched the RGB deal so in taking the plunge before I see another deal ..are we still covered if the price goes down in the next 7 days?

I would insist. Only 10 quid despite richer sounds 25 quid price on the qed slim line.
Cheapest I’ve seen yet. Heat
Excuse my ignorance but what's the real difference between this and the UE55NU7100?
I'm after a new TV for just Sky (football & normal TV) and Netflix (via Amazon 4k box) viewing.
Edited by: "fleetingmind" 25th Nov 2018
They have some refurbished Tvs on their eBay page with extra 10% off as well. Some really good deals to be had
Like this model for just under £640. Just the box is Tatty hence price!

not really but virtually I personally would associate the proper 10bit panel with a better quality panel and also it does have a better dimming, they call it supreme dimming. Could it only be related to the 10bit panel only? possibly yes

I have the mu7000 which is a 10 bit which I got for £649 and missed out on a second one last year so I might see the difference I would prefer the 10 bit again myself
Anyone get richer sounds to match this?

I believe the VA panel in the 8000 model is far superior to the IPS panel used in the 7100. Better motion processing, 100hz as oppose to 50hz. That's why it's more expensive. Here's a link comparing the two on richer sounds website

MU7000?
johneboy0422 m ago

https://www.avforums.com/review/samsung-ue55mu7000-4k-led-tv-review.13925

did not read but 8bit+frc is still considered 10bit and they write 10bit but if it is specified as an 8bit+frc then it must be.
someone confirming it is not a proper 10bit on post#2

avforums.com/thr…50/

also even an xbox would confirm 10bit for both as it is considered 10bit. The mu7000 is from the cheap range with a poor HDR, they would not waste a 10bit more expensive panel on that

hi guys, looking to buy a new 55+inch smart 4k TV but dont know too much about them - brand wise is Samsung better than the likes of LG/Toshiba/Hisense?

budget is £550 - do we think the below is best i could find?

thanks

But is that proof that the NU8000 has a 10-bit panel and not 8+2?
