My first post here, if your a wrestling fan you'll know who this is, if not he's one of the most talented pro wrestlers in history. Regardless of your personal opinions on wrestling Eddie Guerrero was one of the most charismatic and athletic performers to step into a ring, be it in Mexico, Japan, ECW, WCW or WWE. The set features a great documentary as well as 5 hours of extras including some sensational matches that you can't get anywhere else. Everywhere else has this from £17.99 (silvervision and play) to £22.99 (hmv). Amaon price is £21.49.

Zavvi's description:
Born into Mexico's first family of sports-entertainment, Eddie Guerrero's career choice was only natural. In the ring, Eddie was unbeatable. He was part of the most popular tag team in Mexico. Fans worldwide were captivated with his high-flying style. Soon, he moved to Japan and experienced similar success.

After returning to the United States, Eddie faced a challenge he was not prepared for - addiction. Surviving a car accident that almost killed him, Eddie felt he was bulletproof, resulting in reckless behavior that put his life, career and marriage in jeopardy.

Then it all fell apart.

The true test of any man is how he handles adversity. In one of the most inspiring stories in the history of sports-entertainment, Eddie Guerrero not only regained his life, he surpassed his wildest dreams. This is his story.

5 hours of extras:

Ten great matches vs. Cactus Jack & Rock n Roll RPM's (AWA SuperClash III), Hair vs. Mask Match (When Worlds Collide), vs. Dean Malenko (ECW), vs. Chris Jericho (WCW Fall Brawl), vs. Rey Mysterio (WCW Halloween Havoc), vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. (WCW Bash at the Beach), vs. Rob Van Dam (Monday Night Raw), Triple Threat Elimination WWE Tag Team Championship (WWE Survivor Series 2002), vs. Chris Benoit (WWE Vengeance), vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE No Way Out).

and then he took the cowards way out and abandoned his family ........

'An autopsy revealed that Guerrero died as a result of acute heart failure, caused by undiagnosed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Although Guerrero had not taken alcohol or illicit drugs for nearly four years, his past excesses contributed to his heart failure.

Guerrero's wife Vickie claimed that he had been lethargic and unwell in the week preceding his death, but had attributed it to the stress of continuously traveling and performing. She added that the doctors had told her that Guerrero's blood vessels had shriveled and weakened as a result of an undiagnosed heart disease, and that he had simply dropped into a deep sleep.'

He had a heart attack in his hotel room bathroom. He didn't abandon anybody, Eddie Guerrero wa anything but a coward. His story is one of the most uplifting i've seen.

Don't make ignorant statements about things you know nothing about.
