Reminds me of a joke. Why shouldn't you have sex near a nuclear reactor? …Reminds me of a joke. Why shouldn't you have sex near a nuclear reactor? Because chernobyl fall off..... Boom boom tsk

That doesn’t even make sense

Better version:
Why should you never wear Ukrainian underpants?
Because Chernobyl Fallout.

alternatively £8.99 Google play or £11.99 Amazon prime video
Or free (if you already pay for sky) to view only
I wouldn't touch the UK edition with a bargepole.
Started watching this on the weekend. 1 Episode left to go, totally oblivious to how it may end...
Nearly got this from eBay, sealed BR or DVD, sorry I don't remember, was £7.95, other sellers had this for £10-12. Nothing against the deal and did not vote cold.

1080i, squished image and audible speedup.

You talk nonsense. It is blu-Ray which the minimum quality is 1080p

Not really - while blu-ray supports 1080p, video on blu-ray can be lower than 1080p, which is the case for this UK release from Acorn.

From my understanding, the best blu-ray copy of this can be bought from the US or France, which both have the correct FPS, 1080p, lossless audio and extras.

You talk nonsense. There is no 'minimum quality' for Bluray.
Brilliant series. One of the best things in the last decade

No, You talk nonsense. 1080p is the MAXIMUM 'quality'. There are loads of 1080i BDs on the market.

There are even SD BDs available in Germany. The German SD / BD Northern Exposure for example.

2160p is available on Blu ray
Weird seeing this pop up after being the last two days in the exclusion zone and just a few hours ago at the plant.
