Make sure you like the switches if this is going to be your daily driver. I've had a Mx red for 3 years now and had a bit of time getting used to the amount of feedback

Thanks. Take one, hope it can work for years.

Heat added. Owned this for a year+, great mech keyboard and great value.

Does anyone know what the keycaps are? PBT or laser etched? Asking because my manic typing wears keycap legends pretty quickly.

Actually, I can answer my own question from Q&As: amazon.co.uk/ask…hza

"Laser"/"Standard" apparently - cherry.co.uk/PDF…pdf "

Edit: Someone on Reddit has recommended the iKBC F108 caps-unlocked.com/ikb…rd/ (RGB backlit, with numberpad - I actually like those!) to me

Here's another option with PBT keys.

Got to be backlit for me Good for others on the lookout.

I've been through all sorts of 'boards, the only one that had any sort of longevity was the Logitech G11 - the keycaps stayed the same as when I bought them. A few media buttons had given up over the years though.

I'm leaning more towards Cherry Reds. I'm using a cheap Chinese clone Outemu Blue 'board (my first mech keyboard) and I absolutely hate the racket it makes. It also has a tendency to stutter by going "eeee" or not even register a keypress at times!

...and the N and M keys started to wear within six months
