Where is that?

Duck at herons, you couldn't make it up

I'm pretty sure this is the normal price. I've seen them before, but when something is a third of the price that you pay in other shops I tend to treat it with some suspicion.

X)

Herons foods!? I swear some of these shops are made up.
Anyway, I'd steer clear of this one. They take a lot of trade away from the fishmongers,

Great price! Mmmm crispy duck with pancakes

Last time these were on special for this price I'm sure they were Class B graded, so just be careful and make sure you check.

Yes this is the normal price for this at Herons. I've bought it a couple or so times including last Christmas (had loads in this Christmas but had all ran out when i went in on Christmas Eve to get one). Lovely tasting and fab price!

The ducks must have lived well if they can sell them off for £3.50 and still turn a profit.

Seen some whole ducks in sainburys £9 down to £4.50 Class A

Cherry valley duck is the no.1 choice by chinese chefs to make peking duck or chinese roast duck. But, the ducks should be minimum of 2.6kg to make any good roast, preferably 2.8kg and above. These 1.8kg onese are sort of like ducklings and not enough fat and thickness of the skin yet to give full flavour. That could probably be the reason or something to do with recent bird flu culling we read in news. Lol

They've had a horrid few months being stuck in the freezer that's for sure.

Cost Cutter has them at this price,Heron part of same company group? was going to get one for New Year day but bought leg of lamb in Morrisons for half price.

Full of filthy dole scroungers in our local Heron. Enter at own risk

Also that pic is of a ducking, which are cheap anyway!
