gotta hate the actual £3 online '@ sainsbury grocery' price. gotta say store specific.
Item code: 7582029

Seems like the OP looked for one 'manager's special' and found another.

Random clearing of the cold store for Easter Items in reality.

Why exactly would a deli sell pizza? They don't. That's like saying "London Caf Pizza".

Good price though!

Cafe/Deli's are quite common all around the world. Please don't enforce London 'big smoke' barrow bow rhetoric on the rest of us.

Why wouldn't that concept co-exist?

I was in sainsburys last night looking at these pizzas (brought the cheese one) and they weren't this price in the Matlock branch :(.
Great if you can find it, but its store specific.

Except that my point is that New York delis (and London cafs, that I've seen) *don't sell pizza*, not that cafs and delis are mutually exclusive. That it's a ridiculous marketing concept, much like "Southern Fried Chicken", which 1. is just called "fried chicken" in the US and 2. does not have that strange, cloyingly sweet flavour that it has here.

Please don't assume my motive when you've misunderstood.

I thinks it's more to do with the toppings being sold in a deli than the place selling pizza
