I think its "up there" with "Pizza Express" frozen pizzas (however, these are expensive. Only worth it in "reduce to clear" sections).

Definitely one of the best, if you're on the look out for good pizzas Lidl fresh 'finest' ones are really good as well
Im such a sucker for these when there on sale! Good price

Pizza Express store bought pizzas imo taste nothing like takeaway pizzas and not even close to Pizza Express pizza you would get in the restaurant, which is why I stopped buying them ages ago. The garlic dough balls are nice though
Sorry to hijack the deal but anyone wanting this it's usually found in unlabelled packaging in heron foods for £1 in my local at least. Also the microwave ones are 3 for £1 in a stack.

Couldn’t agree more.

They used to be ok when they had the raised edge on them, but they changed to just a normal base and changed the ingredients quite a while ago. You’re better off with an Asda pizza.

But yeah, the dough balls are good. I also use these dough balls (when they’re on offer, obviously!) for buns when I make mini sliders for party food. Meatballs make good mini burgers for them (smashed down obvs).

Chicago Town pizzas are about as good as frozen pizza gets, but it’s nothing like a fresh made dough pizza....

In budgens at the moment 2 of these pizzas and a tub of Judes ice cream for £5.

Yep, although Chicago Town is definitely the closest you'll get to a takeaway pizza. Not sure I agree on the Asda pizza when frozen, but the pizza counter is good

How do you know it's Chicago Town without a label and not just a very similar pizza?

Oh yeah, I totally meant the pizza counter in Asda, not frozen.

The best own brand frozen takeaway style pizza is definitely Morrisons, which I only buy if I'm shopping there and Chicago Town isn't on offer

I gave up on own brand frozen pizza a long time ago, they are soooo far away from what a real pizza is, it’s just not worth it for me.

I only bought the Morrisons one back in March as everyone stockpiled on pizzas and it was all they had

But the Morrisons one is genuinely nice, can't say the same for other stores - frozen at least

Can someone who has this, check of there is paper stuck to the base of their pizza? I baked one the other day and not sure if there was any paper on it, so threw it away.

Couldn't say, some do and some don't mate, as strange as it sounds. Although it's usually cardboard rather than paper

Yeah definitely. The cola bbq ones are the closest thing to a bbq dominos pizza for me and it's like 1/5 of the price....and that's with their 40% offers on!!! These are class, pepperoni is decent to!
I’m a fan of the Sainsbury’s counter pizzas, although no go at the moment with corona
