The Chicco Lullago Zip crib is suitable for babies newborn to 18 months. Normally priced at £130, currently on offer for £65 at Amazon for Prime members only. Seems like an amazing deal! We’ve just ordered it for our baby due in June.

No the side won’t come down like on the Next 2 Me. We wanted it for the living room instead of a Moses basket. Also it unzips so you can lower the mattress and use it for older babies up to 18 months while the Next 2 Me is only suitable for up to 6 months old. It is also a travel cot, it folds down small and comes with a bag. So for us it’ll be dual purpose.

This is what it looks like before it is unzipped - you’d use it like this for the first 6 months. @sparx1981
Looks good and spacious until baby can sit up.

Suitability as unzipped will depend on your house and back.

Unlike standard travel cots this one is likely to have baby in a draught from under the doors if you have an older house as the mattress isn't raised off the floor a few inches like the ordinary ones do.

You will also be bending to the floor putting a sleeping baby in which might not suit everyone.

The thin travel cot mattresses are usually fine for the first few months as baby is lightweight.

When moving to a travel cot most people find their little ones sleep better when they buy a travel cot mattress for extra padding. These might not be available in this size yet. Might be by the time you need one though!
It's a great option instead of a wooden crib downstairs if you don't need the sturdiness to offset the toddler (_;)

Thanks for your comment @jdRiggs We bought it mainly for naps and we’ll see how it works for overnight sleeping but most likely won’t be using it for that very often. Luckily we live in a new house no we don’t have any issues with draughts. Once I start using it I’ll look into whether I need a second mattress and if there are any available.
That looks like a great deal, and congrats on your baby!
