Lot of chicken for £2.75 in my opinion - I got 12 pieces in my pack - so that's two each and two for the dog!!

Nice find.
There was plenty at my local co op.

These (thighs) are great to put in a penne, then shove all the leftover bits in the slow cooker for a day or so for a nice rich gravy later in the week. The only waste is the bones after the cats have had what's left in the sieve.

But were these chickens taken to Majorca for a week in the sun to reward them for their contribution to humanity and relax them before they were slaughtered?
Thought I'd just ask.

Thought I'd just mention it before the nutters arrive! I wonder if they anaesthetise their boiled eggs before they cut their tops off?

Chicken is not slaughtered as Halal in the UK. If they are they have to be labelled as being Halal for supermarkets. Only New Zealand Lamb products is slaughtered as Halal. British Lamb products are also Non-Halal
