Chiminea steel/ cast iron.
This is a fantastic bargain, may only be in certain stores, I got the last one at Southbury Road Tesco, ENFIELD .
This was posted previously at various lowered prices, but this deal tops the lot. Be lucky.

Why cold? If you feel that way why not vote instead? This is a genuine money saving deal/bargain which will help someone.. Christ some people are so miserable lmao
Great price, will have a look - the hunt is half the fun
These look nice, but don't give out much heat due to the thin cast iron.

exactly - the body needs to be cast iron for the chiminea effect to really work

the only cast iron in these cheapo ones is the feet - rest is pressed steel made to look like cast iron

will give out little heat and will rust through in a season

Ah that explains the woman walking out with 4 of these at my local store
If this was Cast iron we wont be able to lift it and it will not be anywhere near £12 or the original price. I guess the supermarkets wont sell it due to logistic issues.
Do you have the bar code?

Did she have arms that resembled sailors kit-bags? (_;)

Come on folks!! Whatcha all wingin about? For £12.50 its a good enough deal. I'm going to try and bag one to use next summer. No point in using it till then. Almost winter and the snow will be here again before we know it!! X)

OP stated they got the last one so this deal could in fact help no-one and cause extra hassle for many. HUKD needs a store specific category!
These things are completely useless. Do not buy. Heat goes straight up into sky leaving everyone clustered around it frozen

    Not true.

I know someone with one & if you take the grill off the front & load it up with decent wood they get very hot....you can also top feed them if you take the 'hat' off the chimney.
    Great price.

for £12.50, even if it last the year or so, it's well worth the deal. Some people are so particular and picky. The bar code is 070122878-0001/5055025560645/16.

Far from true. Chimeneas give of serious heat with the right fuel. Well worth it at this price. HEAT!

Mine is a cast iron therefore charcoal is perfect to use and gives off good heat. Heard they're not good for clay ones. Using an oven glove, I even use mine to cook

Cheers, might have a look for one of these. I only have a small seating area at the back of my house, and it's fairly well sheltered, so something like this should be fine, even if I did only get a year out of it?
So has anyone other than the OP managed to get one of these?

Interesting to note that charcol can defy laws of physics, might be worth telling nasa. Meanwhile chimaneas only work if you sit on them
Barnehurst, what do you suggest as a better option?

Decent quality wood, peat briquettes and you can use coal too, just get the fire going well enough first.
If you just use stuff like off-cuts of a light pine it's useful to get it going but it will go through it very quickly.
Old pallets are good (especially the 'blocks' between top & bottom).
