thanks whoever added the pic was just about to but you beat me to it :P

Great game in my opinion, in terms of value (and gametime) for money this pretty much tops all other game purchases I've ever made (something like £1 per 100 hours of game time so far, and I paid more than this!). Hope there is a sequel one day where they iron out a few of the minor issues, but it's great fun!

Or just a good update.

Or just a good update.

Unfortunately some of the issues are due to exploiting the combat mechanics, such as velocity not affecting damage so some people do silly spins to hit opponents at the very beginning of a swing animation which reduces the realism a bit. That alongside dragging and abuse of feints can get frustrating but overall the game is great. Easy enough to counter once you learn how, but there is a big jump between new players and veterans which can lead to COD style arguments!

The combat mechanics would need re writing from the ground up so I don't expect any update would be capable (or worthwhile for the devs) to resolve that. But I'm sure after their new game is released (mirage arcane warfare), a new chivalry game will be something they must be considering given the success and longevity of this one.

Chivalry dumbed me down when I had a go at playing For Honor beta.
