Chivas HistoryIt takes time for every drop of Scotch whisky to earn its place in Chivas Regal. Take some time of your own to discover why our whisky rewards those who wait.

Our roots go back over 200 years to the opening of a luxury grocery shop at 13 King St, Aberdeen in 1801. This emporium sold exotic goods and a uniquely smooth Scotch whisky, hand blended by James and John Chivas, for a wealthy clientele that included Queen Victoria.

Generosity was always at the heart of the Chivas Brothers' success. They shared the fruit of their success with the local church and the Royal infirmary.

Our WhiskyEach whisky in our range is unique, with its own blend of fine single malts & delicate grain whisky. We have 3 exceptional blends aged 12, 18 and 25 years. James & John Chivas, our founding Fathers pioneered the Art of Blending whisky. Their traditions have passed down through generations of Master Blenders to preserve the distinct character and quality of every Chivas drop.

Was 3rd party amazon seller.
So just pointing out it had been sold cheaper by others before.

Also remember blend does not mean inferior to a single malt

Indeed. Monkey Shoulder comes to mind. Very decent blend of 3 nice single malts at a budget price.

Yes there are some decent blends out there and some poor ones. Same goes for single malts
If your after a single malt try jura origin....simply delicious.

Jura is one of the poorest single malts, plenty of better options for £25
Big fan of the Chivas 12 year old but £40 seems a little too much for my pocket.
