Except it isn't.
For starters the constituent parts of the blends taste different because they were made at different distilleries so the drinks are different.
Bells and Teacher's are cheaper because they cost less to make. Blends are a mix of grain whisky, which can be made in bulk for little cost, and malt whisky, which cannot be made in such bulk and costs more to produce.
Bells and Teachers use a high percentage of grain and a low percentage of malt.
Chivas brings the percentages closer together.
Whisky costs to store. So barrels that go into Chivas have to be stored somewhere for 12 years minimum before they can go in the bottle. Bells and Teachers? More like 3 years.
Read your Influence by Cialdini again and ponder how you were influenced to make him money.
