Avoid the disgusting Mondelez 'Cadburys' Roses which bear no resemblance to the original product and taste disgusting.

Even smaller this year can you believe? Dont know why they dont drip the "tub" and just use a small bag- friendlier to planet and lower cost!

Haven't bought any Mondelez/Kraft/Cadbury products ever since they sacked the workers in Bristol, after promising them their jobs were safe.
£3.50 should be the regular price. Now give us a special offer.

Are they even smaller than last year?
Just the same as morrisons 2 for £7 but can obviously only buy one if you so wish
How's the shrinkflation this year?
My store already had these on!

Thanks always try and get these to stock up for xmas they never last until halloween
wish they just went back to the old 1.5kg tins used to get and charge the proper price.
I demolished a tub of the Heroes last night! It’s scandalous how much ‘air’ is surrounding each tiny chocolate! It feels like a piece of bubble wrap when you pick up the chocolate!! Clearly a ploy by Cadbury’s so they don’t have to put as many chocolates in the tub!! I’d hate to think I’d paid more than £3.50 a tub ...

There were tins of Quality Street available last year in Tesco, Asda & Sainsburys, they were 1.2kg for £7

if you use Costco then you can get 2kg tins for £11

Many years ago i remember we got 3kg tins

How much have the tubs shrank this year? Also Brexit will ensure that these never hit £2.50 this year. You can bank on that.

That's what I was thinking, they may be expecting a difficult Xmas trading period this year in stores

Def. once upon a time these used to be 1kg for like £5

A member of staff in Ikea told me last week that today (Sun 8th) is the date when their Christmas items go out on sale.
I also saw seasonal cards and wrapping paper on sale in a M&S outlet store in late July!
It's all about the money and I suppose it always has been.

Back on topic, after the first 3 or 4 of these tub chocolates they all taste the same to me.

price hasnt changed much then since 'once upon a time' as these work out to £5.40 - £5.80 per KG
are you an inflation denier? lol
I prefer buying the bags you get usually 2 for £5. Less plastic waste as you can get Terry's chocolates
Yes lets leave HEAT at being ripped off
Consumerism at its finest
The chocolates are smaller in size
Any one ever come across toblerone minis tubs?

Sweet deal @Chanchi32
They're still £5 in my tesco I just went in
Just been into morrisons and they had 2 celebrations boxes 2x for £7

Ahhh but think of it like paying the mortgage off early by overpaying , they will soon catch up to the Christmas after so you won't have buy the presents and meals twice
Edited by: "Douglas_Birks" 8th Sep 2019
Sure they’ll do 2 for £5 shortly
Love this dea
I'll get mine after Christmas when they're £1.25 a tub
I always go by price per £1/g to find out value. £1 gets you 185g, so actually a good deal. You would not be able to buy 185g bar of chocolate for £1, try and have a look.

At their full RRP it's not as goo a deal at all but at this price its actually decent.
Adjusting for inflation, Quality Street are roughly half the price they were in the early 80s.

£5 for 3lbs of chocolates in 1983 is equivalent to £17 today. The equivalent amount of chocolates costs £7 with this deal. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
Why is everybody only surprised by the tubs shrinking. Almost every chocolate has also shrunk year on year
