Christmas Charger Plates - Red, Gold or Silver £1 Each @ Poundland

Found 7th Dec 2013
Christmas charger plates (plastic), either red, gold or silver in a metallic finish. They are 'full size' (ie not little side plates). Of course they're not best quality, but at £1 each they don't need to be, especially if, like me, you're on a budget this year.

Every Poundland I've been in lately have had lots of the plates

They look lovely on the Christmas dinner table under your dinnerware for a touch of... erm.... Poundland class. You can also use them as serving plates for finger food.

I think they're great for £1

Got one the other day to put some xmas candles on, looks good

I was looking for some gold plates, so this is great for me....

They have the same thing is asda too for the same price :o)

Excellent for £1,can really make a difference to how the Christmas table looks, add a nice table runner too and a few candles and you'll be in festive heaven.

Thanks both OP and Asda comment.

Probably a daft question but if these are plastic, will they be able to take the heat of a dinner plate filled with hot food?

I'm not that posh to ever have used charger plates before, lol.

Will this work with my lumia 1020?

Great deal Hot!!!

These look great I bought and used them last year. They're a thick plastic so can hold hot food, not thin party plate type plastic ones, if that makes sense x

Excellent!

Good price, cheers for posting

Good price. Will look good on the xmas table!

Yes they can, the only thing there not good for is say putting an oven tray on which am guessing most would not do anyway

Got some for £1 in morrisons a few weeks ago if that helps anyone. Didn't realise it was such a good deal!

they're always a pound in morrisons at this time of year, I have mine out all year round just put a teatowel on top whenever I'm having hot meals

If you're worried about heat (and I admit I've been wondering too), you could place a cotton napkin between the two plates.

A pound in Poundland eh! .... must be deal then! (_;)

What's a gobbin? Is it anything to do with being tall and handsome?

Same price in ASDA if that's closer to people.

Thanks to those who answered my concerns about heat. I picked up a few today but I had to go through the pile and pick out the good ones as so many of them were chipped at the edges or were badly scraped. No idea how they thought they were going to sell them in that condition tbh.

They'll cheer the table up so thanks for posting OP.

what s a charger plate?

I need 110 for a wedding next summer, will i ever get that many?

In case anyone can't get the ones in the OP, Aldi are selling a pack of 6 for £5.49. Different colours on offer.

If you go round about 55 stores, yeah, probably. They're selling fast.
