She is dead, sir.

I remember her using the landline during the 80s and 90s..

Rest in peace
Sky still truly does believe in better.

I'm celebrating my 25 years of being a proud Sky customer.

Which is free
What's a landline?
turtles106/12/2019 05:15

No one should be thanking copyright infringement

Nor should anyone be celebrating the way the TV/Music/Sport industries are going with their increased fragmentation and "Exclusives". It's no longer possible to just purchase a product.

Piracy will always prevail given the above. Y'aarrr!
This is such an empty gesture!
no sport on xmas day
all football on amazon prime

this is one of the most pointless deals i have ever seen

sky are a joke

cold
Hilarious the amount of people that complain about something for free.

I'd rather celebrate the legal and commercial sale of intellectual property than champion copyright infringement which affects content producers and puts money in the pockets of anonymous thieves

I'll take the moral high ground on this subject every day of the week thank you very much.

I don't think Sky/BT/Amazon/Premier League/Premier League Players will go bankrupt from a few people watching pirated streams.
More goid stuff for free

Most likely not but firstly, it isn't just a few people. Second, it isn't just football.

Copyright infringement isn't something where you can arbitrarily draw a box around a sport, it covers most of the intellectual property in the world. It funds criminal activity, costs governments needed taxes, costs jobs in various industries and stifles creativity.

If you want to use illegal streams and are happy to be a part of all of the above, so be it. You're either morally bankrupt, too poor to legally access the content that you desire, or both.
thanks for posting

I think I prefer the real explanation. Agents need exorbitant commission made possible by players exorbitant salaries.

Funded by the grossly inflated broadcasting deals....

The idiots that thought it would be good for the consumer to force the PL to split its rights should be hung drawn and quartered! Forcing them to sell all matches to at least two providers would have resulted in competition. Splitting them just means instead of being screwed by Sky we're now subjected to a Gang Bang :/

Unfortunately I think it will encourage a bit more piracy, not that I think its justified. But I also suspect over time most decent people will start to give up and find their kicks elsewhere.
