It’s a great deal if you have somewhere to stay over there, I’ve been checking out accommodation in BGI over Xmas and the prices are quite high

Hotels will be crazy expensive, voting freeeeeezing.

Sorry, not voting hot I would understand, but voting cold????

The Flights are a great price. The OP isn't trying to say accommodation or whole holiday is a stonking deal.

An ok price not paid over £400 from Manchester last few years , £280 is the lowest I’ve seen

Grabbing my bikini.... I’m ready for cocktails 🍸

Good luck finding a hotel!

Is it hot enough to just sleep on the beach to save money?

The flights without accommodation are worthless, I don't sleep under bridges.

if you want to rent a car is £1500

In that case you'll be disappointed since Irma didn't get close to Barbados.

You don't need a car in Barbados unless you're staying on the East Coast. South and West Coast both well served by public transport and most of the hotels are within walking distance to more than one beach.

Plenty of apartments on Booking.com for less than £1000 a week. Some as low as £680 ish for two people. That makes it a very good price all in for some winter sunshine

Even £700 a week turns it into a very expensive holiday!!

They mean for the 2 weeks.

Loads available around those prices for the whole duration.

Despite the negative comments, I think this is a great deal, HEAT very much added, anybody got any recommendations for hotels/apartments, never been to Barbados before?

If not its OK, I'll happily sleep under a bridge

why would you return NYE!
Anything there simalar to come back on the 2nd or 3rd arriving 20/21st?

Also you can AirBNB for under £400 for 20th to 2nd for 2, some places its under £150 each if you have like 6 people going

Glad I've help you out.

Enjoy.

its a great deal, for a family holiday in the caribbean at christmas I would estimate a budget of £5k--£6k all in is not unreasonable.

voted hot

Price gone upto. 575

Yes Christmas in Barbados can get very expensive very quickly. Most restaurants are overpriced at the best of times, not bad but overpriced.

I rented a vehicle and unless your the time of person to leave hotel, walk to the beach and back to the hotel the car was invaluable and we managed to tour the island for relatively cheap petrol. Beautiful island.

Thank you!!!! the amount of people who travel abroad, do not leave the resort thinking all inclusive resorts is the only way to a holiday is baffling to me!?

I've also rented a car a couple of times in Barbados. I agree it's a good way to tour the island, but my point was that you really don't need to hire for a whole two weeks. You can see the main sights on the island over two or three days. The rest of the time, we found walking and buses better in order to enjoy plenty of Banks beers and rums. Each to their own, of course.
