Not much that I know of on there. Waiting for child of light to go on offer or just going to get it on playstation store. Thanks for posting.

Nintendo has a horrible policy of digital ownership. I'll never buy from eShop but they are good deals, shame

What's wrong with it?

Will pick up steam world dig and nan assault. Both good games at that price. Shame they haven't discounted anything in the virtual console though. Maybe next week!?

Didn't realise Steamworld_dig was on sale, heard great things about it, gonna pick it up, thanks

Its the most annoying thing I had to sell my 3ds with a DKC digital copy. Until its like PS I won't buy from the eShop again.

When you get new hardware you lose everything

I'm getting a Wii U for Christmas, can you buy these games via the website today and then redeem them when I get the Wii U set up?

Darn, almost there, I said I wouldn't buy Barbie Dreamhouse Party until it dipped below £12

Hmm, i wasn't really aware of that and have to say it sucks big time. It's not like i'm planing to get rid of my Wii U but if it breaks down and i have to get a anew console then i'm screwed.

Have Nintendo elaborated why such policy and have they hinted that they could change it?

Nah, it's available on Disc so definitely not buying a digital version.

But that's wrong. You can transfer you NNID and re-download your stuff if you ever need to get new hardware.

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to all this Nintendo digital stuff so you might as well wait for someone with a bit more know-how to chip in but as far as i'm aware there is no option to buy these on the web and it's a direct purchase on a console.

In my case I lost my 3ds and you can't transfer stuff if you don't have the original machine to do it so if your wiiu breaks you're up ship creek, my games are all sat there in my club Nintendo account but Nintendo won't let me have them unless I jump through loads of hoops including filing a police report and getting a crime number.
Nintendo suck and I won't buy digital from them ever.

Banned

Block Drop is only 79p so I might go for that.

no they don't

Just a heads up the Premium Promotion finishes at the the end of this year (where you get points for every digital purchase and £5 back for every 500 points). If you have a Premium console and are almost up to 500 points it might be worthwhile getting a few of these to cash in your points before they expire.

p.nintendo.net/pre…um/

"Please note: the deadline for earning points in the Nintendo Network Premium reward programme is 31st December 2014. Only eligible purchases or eligible download codes used in Nintendo eShop for Wii U before 31st December 2014 will qualify for this promotion. The deadline to exchange your points for an activation code is 31st March 2015."

If you report you lost 3ds and everything you had downloaded to it they will issue you the codes to renown load it all again.

no, but work is already underway to achieve that

Heads up about the 3ds version of Another world - there's actually no 3d effect. It's identical to other ports

You need to file a police report and get a crime number when you lose something? what in the hell.

Ignore the uninformed about transferring digital Wii U purchases. This was updated very recently to allow transfers in case of theft/damage. Also, there's a tool built-in to the Wii U settings that allows you to transfer your NNID to a new Wii U system.

The best bet is to use an external hard drive, then if something happens to your Wii U you still have everything saved to your hard drive.

I dint think you can use your hdd full of games on another system, its encrypted for just that original system to use.

Art of Balance has a demo available too, a simple yet very addictive game. Good social game if others are watching in the room too, as everyone starts joining in with their own ideas and solutions on where to place the items. Nice game for Christmas Day etc.

Nope that doesn't work, it will only work on the console you bought the games on.

I highly recommend Steamworld Dig. I hear that it's short, but I've put 4 hours in so far and for £3.50 I'm happy with that.

That's absolutely not true. You just do a system transfer before you sell your old one. for loss, system failure, or theft you contact Nintendo.

Sure, not as simple as signing into to your account like on PSN or XBL, but saying you 'lose everything' is just horsemuck spreading.

I'm gonna get Art of Balance BTW. Tried the demo last night; horizontal like, Christmas lights on, Wiimote in one hand beer in the other. Really relaxing music combined with the one handed control makes for a really chilled out experience.

you shouldn't really. others have said that you only need the serial number of the console if you lost it. if it's stolen, then yes, you'll need a police report

I'm telling you from personal experience, you still have to make a police report if you lost the 3ds, that's from the mouth of Nintendo customer services.

That's a sucky experience though it doesn't seem to be the norm and hopefully, you can reference the Reddit thread I linked to and use it to help you along.

Not saying it's not a hassle though.

Edit: I should add that a police report was always the bare minimum Nintendo needed to restore purchases and have been regularly answering others here that way who said purchases was irrevocably tied to consoles. Hopefully, if you have the serial number handy that can be used to speed things along.

I done messing with those jokers, I'm just going to wait them out until they get with the times and register games to your account and not the console. I look forward to getting my ambassador games back but until then I'll just pirate all the roms and play them on one of the 30 other machines that run them.

Even at 79p I'd avoid it. Terrible game
