bargain last minute ski deal for those who can go this weekend for Xmas. All including chalet board ( breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with wine) flights and transfers!

a bit more for other resorts, Meribel £320 but still a bargain, even get a proper Christmas dinner.
Snowing now in La Plagne, so conditions improving, husband there at the moment and says they're preparing more runs for next week.

La Plagne
The Chalet Colette is a lovely wooden-clad property and one of our most highly sought after catered ski chalets, given its fabulous location in the La Plagne ski resort, and virtual ski to door stat

The ski chalet has a very pleasant interior and is situated just 150 metres from the slopes and lifts. The chalet has a comfortable lounge with log fire and a dining room with ski slope and mountain views. Perfect for enjoying our freshly baked cakes and afternoon tea or our excellent 3 course dinners with wine! Most bedrooms en suite or private bath/shower rooms. There are even 2 single rooms – quite a rare feature in any chalet!

You can't beat a good snow fight !!

Thanks for the link, was thinking of booking a ski holiday over christmas cheaper than the ~£600 I've been getting from some sites, but once you factor in the ~£200 list pass which a lot of other sites include, this doesn't seen like a great deal, unless if I'm missing something here?

the following week is £866!

Still not much snow there at the moment ! Its mixed rain/snow, so if you do go, keep high up otherwise you'll get soaking wet !

Good price though. Make sure you abuse that free wine !!

I'm a big snowsports fan and love a bargain. Looked for (and bought) these sorts of packages for quite a few years and they typically never incl. the price of the lift pass.
Probably as there are so many different options to choose from (lift pass only, or with equipment and/ or tuition).
This is a great hot find!

Voted hot - but take it to account ski passes. We paid £400 with our ski pass included for 8 days in Les deux alpes, with everything included (flights, car rental, accommodation, ski pass, ski hire/transport and half board food). Worked out to £1200 for 3, or £400 each.

I think that is very good deal indeed. Did you book it from the same web site above, Is it suit for family with young children?

No - I booked it in pieces, and I can't see why it wouldn't work for a family (we are three - a couple and a single, so went with a 1-double room, 1 sofabed double, and 1- bunkbed option.

This gives us the sofabed in case we get some guests or last minute additions.

Broke down to:
Room + Skipass from Sunweb (£186 each - it's a dutch travel agent)
Half board food @ 80euro or so each (though I'm now trying to cancel this as I think we would rather cook ourselves or go out)
Flights out with easyjet (£60 if memory serves each, inclusive of one suitcase each + 1 ski box split in 2)
Flights back with BA (£55 - with a suitcase each + 1 extra for me as I'm BA Silver frequent flyer. BA takes skis as normal luggage)
Car rental with someone @ £110 for the week through easyjet (not the smallest car, went for a 5-door car. I could have saved £10 or so here)
1 night in an IBIS at the airport on the way back (27 euro, or around £20)
ski hire for 1 @ 40euro
parking at Gatwick for 9 days at £30 (+10% quidco)

The only thing we haven't taken into account is fuel to get to the airport and fuel for the rental car. The car hire is sometimes provided with chains, but if not, we will buy them in Grenoble (€25-€30). I have a soft roof rack to carry the skis with, so didn't pay the extra bit they want for that at the car rental.
