# Christmas Toiletries 3 for £1/£2 (info in post) - GLITCH @ ASDA In Store

LocalFound 26th Dec 2017Edited by:"SmilingT"
THIS IS AN IN STORE DEAL, NOT ONLINE.

Receipt is above. You’ll see I could have got another set, and it would have deducted another £2, but I didn’t see this until I had paid and left as it only showed the offer at the till.

Toiletries gift sets are reduced to £1-£2.50 but still have the 3 for 2 offer on, so you can grab 3 £1 Dove sets for £1!

1: Pick 3 sets for £1/£2
2: Checkout discounts lowest price bringing total price for 3 items to £1/£2.
3: Rinse and repeat!

Hope this helps! Clearly should be doing both offers so it’s a glitch. PLENTY of choices, mix and match and see how far you get.

RE: receipt and the 6 items, The gift set at £2.50 was wine, not a toiletries, so wasn’t counted in this. I missed out by getting 5 toiletries sets and not 6.

Wouldn’t it be 3 for £2?..

2 + 2 is 4 - 1 = 3 Quick maths.

Is this a glitch? Or just them extending the offer to get rid of stock before the new year ?

It doesn’t state that. It states that 3 for 2 works alongside the current reduction, reducing it by more than it should. The 3 for 2 takes off £2, making it £1.

Someone just posted a deal and no glitch happening on their receipt.

There’s 6 gifts on the receipt, it’s 3 for 2 with the lower 2 values of the gifts (£1) being deducted twice.

Still makes no sense. Why does 3 for 2 take £2 off? 3 for 2 is buy 3 products for the price of 2. Each product is £1, therefore 3 products for the price of 2 would be £2. Unless you are stating that the offer takes off £2 regardless.
It isn’t very clear, that was my point. Just trying to clear it up for everyone
I work at Asda and essentially what has happened is head office have forgotten to take the 3 for 2 offer off when reducing the prices so all Christmas gifts in the offer before Christmas are still working.

This is could be corrected tomorrow.
Cant see the receipt

Cos they got it wrong - they reversed it : should be 3-1 but they are doing 3-2 at the til. Heat!
I’ve got the sauce, raw sauce
So go to gift sets for toiletries.....

Get 3 of them.... go to till... pay for 1 of them?
Didn’t worked for me instore, bought 3 sets £2 each and 3for 2 paid £4 for 3 dove body wash sets
Think OP has got confused. It’s not 3 for 1 - it’s 3 for 2
3 for 2 and gidt sets £2 Hot. Used just. Thanks op
No 3 for 2 in Cribbs Causeway

It's not confusing. It's just 3 for 2. Buy 3 items at £2 each = £6, but you only pay £4 as you only pay for 2 of them, as the 3rd one is free

Nope still confusing. The OP said that the total bill after 3 for 2 would be £1 or £2, so that is incorrect and therefore confusing. Total price will never be £1, as 3 products at £1 each is £3, then 3 for 2 brings it down to £2.
Since commenting the OP has tweaked the detail slightly and changed it to £1/£2. But you still can’t get £1 total for 3 items.

Anyone know if 3 for 2 is still working today?
