It’s £76.50 for the Nolan Collection, Blade Runner and Alien Covenant.

Pick any three and get 50% off the total basket. Also Harry Potter Collection in 4K is available. Amazon Italy often do really good 4k deals

JP
This is hands down one of the best deals I have ever seen on HUKD’s. Thanks OP! Been holding out for a deal on the 4K Nolan collection for what feels like forever.

Are the boxes in English? Thanks

Just noticed they are not. 85 euros for Harry potter and 50 percent off is an amazing deal too!
the previous 4k movies from amazon.it i bought werent... logan, accountant and a couple others... so id assume these where the same.. but they had full english menus and where basically the english disk in an italian box.
Thanks OP... Just dropped £66 on 18 Blurays (including the original Batman/Superman set, Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, an Xmen trilogy, and Logan), a 4K Alien Covenant, and 4K Westworld Boxset. Cheers!
As much as I love Nolan's films why the hell does he have to make the dialogue whisper-quiet. Night mode on the speakers fixes it but it makes everything sound wrong. Ruins it for me really.

Didn’t work for me, althoughI think it may be because I picked Logan 4k bluray.
Swapped Logan for bluray version and it worked...
I would love to see a 4K version of Memento, but cant see that happening any time soon
HP boxset, Nolan boxset and cpvenant for just on a ton, very nice indeed, thanks OP
I would suggest anybody wanting to buy the Christopher Nolan or Harry Potter box sets look check carefully to see if these are in English.

Looking on Amazon Italy they look dubbed with Italian subtitles only:

amazon.it/Nol…RM1

  • Lingua: Italiano
  • Sottotitoli: Italiano
  • Regione: Regione B (Maggiori informazioni su Formati Blu-ray.)

I could be wrong and if anybody knows please reply because I would really like to buy them!

just because its upscaled to 4k doesnt mean its trash.. best thing anyone can do about those realorfake4k websites is completely ignore them. being real or fake 4k has no bearing on the quality of the end result. some "real " 4k movies look crap and some fake 4k movies blow them out of the water... its better to check reviews from respected 4k websites instead.

ultrahddigest seemed to think they where excellant...

"The HDR here does enhance the various shades of these darker colors though, which is nice. In the dark rooms of Hogwarts, the various shades of gray, steely blues, and silvers really look excellent. When Voldemort's army starts attacking Hogwarts magical shield, the different shades of blue and silver look particularly striking. When fire is set to the Room of Requirement, you'll be able to see the different oranges and reds pop right off screen. There is also a scene at the end of the film between Harry and Dumbledore where the scene is soaked in bright whites and gold, making it the brightest part of the last film.

It looks excellent and never overpowering, but with many nuanced shades of whites, making it look almost magical. Black levels are deep and inky with zero crush, and skin tones are natural when in brighter conditions. There is a good layer of grain as well here, which keeps the filmic look of the movie and also gives way to a ton of depth in the detail. Nasty cuts and wounds look very good and individual hairs can be seen easily on every beard and actor's head. Wrinkles in the older wizards look excellent as well too. Makeup effects on the bloody small creature in the scene where Harry and Dumbledore talk at the end of the film looks very realistic, with every ounce of nastiness showing up.

You'll even be able to see the tiny flakes in detail when Voldermort dissolves. Wider shots never go soft and reveal every stone and brick in Hogwarts. The heavier CGI scenes look good as well, however there is some haloing in the bigger action scenes that make some of the bigger CGI effects look unnatural and fake even (that's one of the prices to pay with exquisite 4K and HDR). There were no other compression issues here, leaving this video presentation with great marks."

Yeah, watching the Batman trilogy recently I basically had to turn the volume up and down constantly. From whispered dialogue to deafening effects and music. Great movies though.

He optimizes everything for the ideal setup. So you absolutely have to have 5.1/7.1 to hear this how it was meant to be heard. Please don't tell me you're watching it with a soundbar...

I'm not saying it;s trash....but it means you are BEING CHEATED. The product is labelled as 4k when in fact it's upscaled. It is not the genuine transfer and people deserve to know that. It means the studio didn't even bother to invest in a proper transfer they just took the cheap option and you...paid for it.

No idea why you posted the huge arse quote about HDR. It would have been more productive to say that if you want to benefit from HDR watch it on OLED or don't bother.
Does anyone know if the Harry Potter collection, and Westworld boxsets come with English audio? Really want to buy them!
I asked Amazon Italy's customer service about whether these boxsets have English audio. This is what they advised:

"kindly be advised that the items West world series and Christopher Nolan collection are in Italian audio and I'm sorry to tell you that they are not in English Audio."

Beat me to it pal. Sick and tired of everyone blabbering on about “real” vs upscaled 4k. You’re absolutely right in what you’re saying about reference upscaled 4ks and poor native ones 🏻

Yep a soundbar. I find audio complicated to set up, too many words such as 5.1 7.1, DTS, Surround, ARC, and Dolby Atmos get thrown around so I never bothered to investigate and stick with a type of setup.
Edited by: "aarste" 19th May
Bluray.com list the Italian releases of Harry potter collection and The Nolan collection as having English audio. They also have the german release listed and that has english audio. I would be suprised if they have created an Italian only release.
Westworld im not sure on as its only listed with TBA on the audio.

It's really not worth me investing in a good 5.1 sound system when I watch like 2 films per year.

I suspect they were trying to put you off buying, a few mins on Google will find other non-Amazon sellers e.g. mondadoristore.it/Har…74/ with this boxset and they show languages as:

Italiano Dolby Digital 5.1 - Inglese Dolby Digital 5.1 - Inglese PCM 5.1 - Inglese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 - Inglese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1

Christopher Nolan collection shows the following (note a quick zoom in on the Amazon copies of Inception and Interstellar both clearly show Inglese as one of the Audio options.)

Italiano Dolby Digital 5.1 - Inglese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 - Spagnolo Dolby Digital 5.1 - Francese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 - Tedesco DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1

Westworld has the following:

Italiano Dolby Digital 2.0 - Inglese Dolby Digital 2.0 - Spagnolo Dolby Digital 2.0

Alien Covenant shows:

Lingue E Audio Italiano DTS 5.1 - Inglese Dolby Atmos

So all showing at least English plus some French, Spanish too.
