Nice find thanks
New Tridents coming out 2.2.16 (don't tell Jeremy Corbyn)
Got my order in
Great find thank you
I don't think I want to know the answer, but was there any 42mm Trident 600's this morning while I was at work? Still lots of 38mm and 38mm GMT now, and the C8 Mk2 Vintage U2 is very nice for £275

Don't think so, I got a 38mm but would've gone for the 42mm had it been on offer.

Thanks for that, I've been going on there daily waiting for them to restock the sale section. Would've been all over the 42mm fingers crossed they add some more stock soon.

It's still a bargain the 38mm, but would be too small for my taste.

At this price I'm quite open to most of the colourways.

They 'usually' only put the leather C60's on the 50% off section. I guess they have all the watch heads in stock and add whichever strap/bracelet costs them the least for half price offers.
How do you get a small strap? i cannot see an option on the sale items but I can do on the regular item.
What is the lume like on the Pilots anyone know?

LOL OK Mixed reviews on the matter

Well the Pilots are gone. I was a bit put off by reading that they needed to be worn or sit in a winder because the lube would otherwise solidify. There was me thinking I could wind it when I needed it and it would stay in pristine condition. Is this common and the same situation with mechanical wind watches or just with the lube used by CWard?

Never heard anything like that, been wearing mechanical/automatic watches for 25 years.

Neither had I. I saw it in the Downloadable manual and just went back to get a link and point to where in the manual this was stated. however I cannot find it in the manuals for the current range of automatics (the few I've looked at) so I wonder if they have changed from that lube to a 'normal' lube.

As it uses a standard ETA or Sellita movement that thousands of other watches use, It's not something that would concern me. Also comes with 5 year warranty on movement.
