Some warranties requires you to remove your tap and send to X place you bought it from and it can be a right pain... I had to remove my bath because i couldn't get to the tap the luxury of ''it looks good there''. Only because the cartridge is different to others i could not swap it myself had to send it away for inspection.

Would be cheaper to replace it with this tap rather than getting a plumber to check it out for you

Have seen this before, a seal in the tap will be leaking. If you dry around tap and turn it on fully, you may notice that some water appears around the edge of the tap. As sam800 said, it will be cheaper and less hassle to just replace it.
Just Remember this.. B&Q .. ensure all the parts are inside the box.
I went to purchase a toilet intake valve. 5 in stock. All boxes open and missing parts.
Worker took all of them away from the shelf.
Good price otherwise!

Yeah - same here - it was a seal.. as others have said - no point in trying to source a replacement. Change the whole tap. Did it myself.. it wasn't that hard, but you do have to be careful with leaks.
