Now this is what I call a good deal!

Hey remember when they had the Rugby Gran Slam offer: Got £100 off Oak Flooring.

Had to order to like 3 - 4 different address as it was some what expensive

 Thank you all for saving me so much cash :giggle:

just remeber folks that voucher is 20 of 50! so remember to add something else to your trolley that will make it up to required amount as the set itself is 49.99!
just incase u forget and get nasty shock later on as it doesnt show the discount online.
i recommend pack of washers for 20p, lol

R these ok to use with electric connections? Or are they only for central heating?

Central Heating.

I just got my confirmation email and the £20 off didn't show up, even though I added the code

Still a good find though - thanks.

If its your own property you can do it yourself not sure about if its not your own, but it would be a plumber if you wanted a tradesman to fit it for you, cost you about £70 labour I would guess

Well i would do it myself if it just need fixing to the wall , but obviously it seems as though it needs to be connected to a water piper i presume that nobody could do this unless u know what ya doing?

Or is it quite simple to do?

go to Wickes and you will find everything you need.

You can get push-fit connectors and plastic piping nowadays.

if you go to a plumbers merchants they will give you lots of advice.

just spoke to screwfixx on the phone now and the £20 voucher has been redeemed making the total cost of 2 radiators for £29.99
regards

This might sounds stupid but I've just moved into a house with one of these fitted, there's a switch on the wall but it doesn't come on. It worked when I looked around and am wondering if I'm missing something...do you have to turn something on the unit itself?

Original Poster

i think you need to turn on the whole central heating system first for it to work
switching on one switch does not switch the whole heating system on

My £20 off was taken off so got them both for £29.99. Thanks. I also got some white silicone for about 80p for the piping

When was the £20 taken off?

Mine still shows as the full price in my account

Cheers, going for a set of these, will order some thermostatic valves for them too, as current Rad's don't have them, will take it over the £49.99 so voucher will work

Cheers to OP

Added all the good stuff to OP (Rep etc )

It showed up after they taken the money (about £31 in my case)

fantastic deal. the £20 if taken off as they are despatched. i emailed screwfix and got an almost instant reply to say the £20 has been discounted from the final price - making mine about £33 (stocked up on lightbulbs at the same time - can never have too many). once again a fantastic find. :-D

thanks for the post. I`ve ordered a pair and waiting to see if the discount comes off. voted hot

do you put discount code where it says add vouchers !!???!!

yeah but if you do that you still need another code to..

not sure where to put the code PR0020 on the payment screen help

Just a word of warning, these will only last 5 minutes because they tend to rust because we have had one before from screwfix.

Don't want to put anyone off though!
