Is this worth it at this price then?

Of course. For £250 you can’t go wrong. I have this device and it’s a premium feeling device. Runs fast. Does everything I want and great battery life.

But if you want more of a budget feeling device with less of a display and slower in performance then go for the acer which is a good bang for your buck after cash back (edited)

So far really impressed with the deivce....chromebooks in the past were very cheaply made, had poor screens etc compared to windows laptops as they wanted to sell them as cheap as possible but this laptop is very thin light and has flagship build quality.
im moving from windows so i'll see how i get on with chrome os.

We simply do not know the chance. First day it was near enough guaranteed.

My error was that it auto completed, so I deleted back to the C433 code, not realising I was on the C434 code.

If you look closely you will realise that the 4 core Atom type Celeron might well beat the 2 core M3 on a Chromebook.
    On Windows it runs close.

But of course a £350 Chromebook is better than a £180 Chromebook.
And if lucky, £250 beats £80.

Btw. they both appear to use emmc memory. The SSD claim of the Flip appears to be euphemism. (edited)

I was pointing out the cashback risk, one obviously higher the more you pay.
In benchmarks here is a table, be it Windows. They are mid to low at #129 and #137

I was shocked myself just how cheap it was.. Definitely preferable to have the 8GB model but the 4GB still holds a good number of tabs etc and would fit the bill perfectly for a lot of people.

8GB would come into its own for really heavy tab hoarders and people who install osme of the more ram intensive android apps. There is also the element of future proofing with more ram if Chrome OS gets a little more bloated over time with new features.

£249 is a great deal with cashback and heated

    But we won't see.
There are 32 thousand £35 cashbacks yet the more desirable ones with only 8 thousand cashbacks have been the decent offer.

Because you could get a mid high end Chromebook for way less than £200, logically the 8 thousand plus or 2000 premiums will be the first to go.

    No worries. Found it

The cpu is a intel celeron which the M3 beats
The RAM is also 4gb ram which 8gb beats
32gb EMMC compared to the 128gb SSD
    It’s also not a 2in1
The display is worse then the asus

So this machine at £250 is a better deal in my eyes. (edited)

Also the 64gb version of the ASUS is using the EMMC while the 128gb one is SSD

Just checked benchmarks. The m3 beats the n4000 and the N4020

Yes it wins overall. And the Flip is higher end too.
But on Chromebook most likely the 314 wins, plus on review the 314 got 16 hours web browsing. The high peak wattage of the Core M3 in the Flip will impact bad in many use cases.

The comparison you need is the Celeron N5030, a 6 watt 4 core Soc. (edited)

I’m sorry. But I’m very sure your wrong. The battery might be better on the acer because of the poor quality display and depending on usage but overall the flip is a much more better chrome OS experience then the acer. Also this has touch screen compared to the acer (edited)
