Cheapest deal I've seen when you factor in postage costs
(next cheapest is Board Game Hut £24.99+£2.99 p&p= ~£28)

*You need to click 'Other Sellers' and pick docsmagic for the deal

Added bonus: it's Amazon Prime so should be delivered quick!

You can play this without the VR glasses, but they're recommended.
Also you will need a mobile smartphone – I know this will be a deal breaker for a lot of you! 😁

  • Chronicles of Crime is cooperative game of crime investigation, mixing VR experience and board gaming
  • Start the app, choose the scenario you want to play, and follow the story
  • Catch the culprit of the case in the shortest time possible
  • All you need to enjoy the VR experience is your phone

This is a brilliant game. Highly recommend it. I actually picked it up in a store for £23 and I’ve seen it cheaper, but at any price I highly recommend this.

Agreed. Bought it on Kickstarter with all the expansions. Excellent game
Ordered thanks. Hoping this is similar to those escape room games!
Docsmagic appear to algorithmically match the market and so are rarely an indicator of a good price.

Case in point - CoC could regularly be had for <20.

I'm not saying it's not worth the price here, just to not think it's a particularly good price - it might be between print runs for example.

It's not quite like the escape rooms but gives the same kind of teamwork/puzzle vibe. Consensus is that the VR attachment stinks and casting to a shared screen is a far superior way to play. But if you want to use the VR then any passive holder (eg cardboard) works.

For the crime investigation aspect, we usually just take it in turns looking at it on our phone/iPad screen and either physically turning or just swiping the screen. I’m sure the VR aspect is a fun add-on, but I think - all things considered - it probably doesn’t add a massive amount to what is already a a great game.

Oh, and on a different note for anyone interested in this game - I definitely feel (like the Unlock and EXIT games) that this is better played with 2 people. With more than that it becomes easier for other players to become inactive/bored.

Send this to the met they need it
As mentioned in the original post, it's cheaper (£24.99) at the board game hut. They have free delivery over £20 so not sure where the £2.99 came from?
£27.69 from the seller mentioned
They quoted me £2.99 delivery. I might be wrong about the price (not sure) but still prefer buying through Amazon, they never done me wrong yet, despite all the people saying avoid them. I just wish there was one good site online that was consistently better in price than the rest AND had stock!! I find myself constantly looking at the same few sites, and using PriceSpy/ BoardGamePrices, but getting games now at a reasonable price is so difficult (and I know distributors are struggling too)
