Hook me up this SAME Chuwi 10" in 'Dual-Boot'?, then I'm gooooooood to go!, hehehehe. :-)

I don't quite know what the Z8300 Chipsets NOT support 'Dual-Boot' Windows & Android Devices? (or am I mistaken?, & the Hardware Manufacturers just choose to not make it that way instead ... )

As I've noticed the Z3736, & Z3737 Chipsets both 'support' what I'm talking about ..... :-)

OP .. your Deal?, or this Deal instead:

I posted a deal the other week, for the Teclast X80 Plus (presale) which is dual boot, same Z8300 processor hotukdeals.com/dea…465

Curiously Chris from TechTablets did make a comment about the Z8300 vs Z3736F processors from this page (comments) techtablets.com/201…ne/
"Not real gain on the Z8300 Vs Z3735F, just in 3dmark11 and other more demanding games maybe a light increase. But the higher clocks in the Z3736F tend to win despite the lower GPU 4 EUSs vs 12 EUS. I would really like to see the Chuwi Hi10 with a Z8550 when released."

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!, yes yes, I recall reading up a little bit too on that thread back in November (how time flies?, lol).

Makes for some interesting reading nonetheless? (be it for recap purposes or otherwise?, regardless ..... ). :-)

Oh yes!,, ironically I read your Teclast Deal Thread some days ago too?, hahaha (but have since forgotten about it?), some of the Posters (quote/unquote) 'comments' on your Thread (hehehehe) kind of re-reminded me of such?, hmmmmmmmm, lool. :-)

Thanx for the additional insight through.

Whats will the Z8550 hold, that the Z8300 currently does not already?. :-)

Chuwi Hi10 and Pipo X9 are very different form factors, the Pipo not being portable as it has no internal battery. X9 is cheaper at £85 with UK plug from Gearbest gearbest.com/tv-…tml ex-China (currently no EU ?wid=3 stock)

Video of a guy getting skyrim running on this. Had to have it low of course but was still gettig 30fp. I had windows tablet but sold it cos never ised it then my laptop broke. Was going to get android tablet but now thinking about this.

Are these reliable? What if something foes wrong with it?

If buying from China, enforcing a warranty claim will be difficult / expensive (buyer pays shipping to China). Offset the potential lack of warranty and potential import fees (at circa £33) against the likely higher price if purchased from a true UK supplier offering UK warranty. Buyer's choice.

Pay an extra £6/7 and get it from an EU warehouse.

Never had a real issue with Gearbest, both ex-China and via their EU warehouse, latter covering the smaller Pipo X8 and misc phones inc X5 Pro - although I am realistic about effectively zero warranty. Had one instance of delayed despatch on a £3 phone case; Gearbest CS seemed polite but only offered lip service resolution. Sub-£15 orders from Gearbest do not concern me; above that figure requires careful consideration.

Amen!, thanx. :-)

As an earlier Poster also said EU Warehouse it is then?, lol.

I ordered my Doogee X5 Pro Phone on BangGood via their EU Warehouse at the time (I avoided their Chinese Warehouse alternative, just in case?).

But on account of the obvious EU Warehouse/China Warehouse 'divide' between the 2 Animals I decided to ask as well? (I believe its the China Warehouses between these 2 Companies people have had a few 'issues' with?, whereas the EU Warehouses between the 2 Companies RARELY gets mentioned a bad word ..... or at least, not that I've heard anyway?) :-)

If I were to get this (I don't think it's a bad deal, but it's a pity you can't dual boot between Android and Windows) I think I'd need the keyboard

Seems to be at least two types of keyboard for this Hi10; Geekbuying push this one at about £36 which has a touchpad (unlike the Gearbest option) geekbuying.com/ite…tml

Seems like a good price to me for those specs!

Great specs for the money - the CPU seems to benchmark better than most of the processors we've seen in these W10 tablets over the last couple of days, including the Celeron in the Lenovo deal from yesterday; better resolution, better RAM and ROM.

It's just buying from Gearbest and these Chinese brands that I'm unsure about. Even though it's cheap, I don't want this to be knackered in two years time!

But still, heat from me!

Yes, it looks like a better keyboard, but its getting a bit expensive! And personally, I'd prefer a mouse rather than a touchpad, which is easy to arrange

I'm typing on my Chuwi Hi10 which arrived from Gearbest on Friday so I'll share my experience so far for those who care.

Firstly, thing is quite a little powerhouse, I've had CSGO running at a solid 30 fps on low settings, something my i3 laptop can only just do!

Good things:
- Screen is beautiful and very bright
- Decent battery life (something I was dubious about)
- Windows 10 on a tablet is awesome
- The price is phenomenal for what you're getting!
- Edge is runs very well, it's a shame I'm a Google Chrome user because it's not quite as slick

Minor annoyances:
- I wish there were more apps. Yes the full windows 10 experience you can do anything on tablet but sometimes I crave the fluidness of dedicated apps. The ebay tablet app for example is excellent
-Build quality, it doesn't feel premium. Not saying it's badly made it just doesn't feel as good as an iPad etc. Having said that I paid £120 (so what can I expect) and I'm not the type to throw stuff about so it doesn't matter.

If you're on the cusp of buying this, I'd say do it!

hi guys can you give me some advice? I look for a win 10/tablet to play older games on it which will have decent current gen processor plus at least 64gb or internal memory.
the unicorn here would be tablet with 128gb dual boot with android to have best from both words but I think I can keep dreaming

any suggestions?

how about announced Cube i9 and Core M is it really that powerful?

are there any Core M tablets already on the market which you could recommend (I am not going to buy Surface Pro 4 )

Thanks for posting your impressions, I'm keen to hear about real world impressions of these things. I'm always put off by how they look. But I think I can live with that in return for the savings if they work well.

...I'm also wondering whether or not to just go for a newer Linx model and have the luxury of being able to take it back...

Good deal, I'm just wanting something with a bigger screen. Tempted by the VOYO Vbook V3 which has almost identical hardware but a 13.3" screen and keyboard. Would prefer it from the European warehouse though!

I nearly went for the Chuwi back in November but there were some early niggles with the tablet, which seem to be resolved now.

Wondering what the best keyboard is? There is a Chuwi-branded one with a touchpad which is supposedly really good, cheaper options are hit and miss I think.

What do you think of the sound from the Hi10? The Linx 10 I have drives me mad at times as it can be too quiet for my liking (fiddled with DFX Audio Enhancer and Bongiovi but they get buggy and crash after a while).
