This is the best deal I could find for a single bottle purchase of this. So basically, if like me you have a front loading washing machine, you may know the annoyance of a pool of water remaining at the bottom of the rubber seal just inside the door. You wipe it dry after every use, clean it out with various products, but slowly over time a black mould starts building up around there that you just can't shift. It even penetrates the rubber seal turning it black too and can even stain your washed clothes.

So, on a whim I thought I'd give this a blast. Black mould? Black mould remover, right? So I wiped out the mucky area with a damp cloth, making sure to get under the seals too in the hidden areas, then I gave it a good spray around with this stuff. I left it for half an hour, then came back and wiped it out again with another clean damp cloth. When I looked, I thought, that looks a bit better. So I reapplied the product, left it for another half hour, returned and wiped it out again to see even more improvement. I repeated this process several times and by the time I was done, virtually all evidence of that horrible black sludge was gone, including from off the rubber seal too.

So I say, if you have this black sludge problem with your front loader washer, give this stuff a try. You never know. You my just save yourself hundreds of pounds on an engineer callout to have the rubber seal replaced. I hope this helps someone. Thank you kindly.

I bought this. Honest opinion, doesn't do what it says on the tin bottle
Won't vote either way on this as never used it but if you have a black mould issue HG Mould Remover is fantastic. I have used it a number of times now in showers and on paint and it has without fail removed all of the black mould.

It's more expensive than this but saved me having to totally re-seal a shower when I moved into my new house. 37185037-itXNX.jpg

HG Mould spray is the best hands down for removing mold. Cilit bang is rubbish. It's commercial advertising to suck people in.

Where can you buy this from I don't think I've ever come across this brand before. Also is it a simoke spray on wipe off or does it still require a little effort? Thank you
Thanks. Mothers day sorted.

Lakeland, B&Q, Amazon, etc sell it. I spray it on & leave 10 to 15 minutes and then just spray it with water to wash it off. All the mould is gone, no effort required at all. If the mould is heavy it may need a couple of goes and a little scrub.
20 minutes and it’s all clean,BANG and the dirt is gone..(lol)
The mould is almost certainly Aspergillus. There is a really cool video of removing an aspergillus growth from someone's lung -aspergillus.org.uk/con…ung. Cillit bang would probably not work on that.
Op thank you I have a bottle of the black mould remover for the bathroom wall. Never thought of using it in the washing machine will give it a try tomorrow always scrub at the stain be nice if it comes off with ease.

On the flipside I'll try it on my bathroom tiles. Cheers.
