Oh god I've already got a shed load of sweet sundays to use up

When I log in it asks for £4.50 worth of vouchers, not £2.50

Ah OK, I see this is from next Monday...my bad

yeah but those are sunday-only tickets, right?

Voted hot

Cold, sorry, since clubcard vouchers are generally worth more than their face value "for £2.50" is misleading.

No "heads up" or "29 july" in title cold for that reason

Why is it misleading...use £2.50 worth of tesco club card vouchers and exchange for a cinema ticket which costs more than £2.50... I've not been to the cinema recently but I'm sure it's more than £2.50 unless you go to the kids for quids sat/sun am show.

I wouldn’t go to the cinema if it wasn’t for clubcard points.

Numpty! Generally speaking ticket prices are £10 so it IS 4 times the value!

a. Because the opportunity cost of using this deal is £5-£10 not used towards another Clubcard deal.
b. Because I cannot actually purchase this for £2.50. It requires that value in points from previous purchases over an extended time.

It also assumes that your points have not been stolen.

Actually an okay deal in my eyes, but the title isn't accurate.

You can't for £2.50 cash. "Cineworld ticket for £2.50 cash" is hot. But, the offer is using a '£2.50 clubcard voucher'. The headline should say "for £2.50 clubcard voucher".

Such a voucher is certainly 'worth' £5 to most people doubled up replacing cash spending, and for some potentially more through other deals. The deal might still be good, depending on when you can go to the cinema, but £2.50 cash isn't the same as £2.50 clubcard voucher.

GREAT!! CHEERS!!

If you read the title and the deal description then it's clear.

Title should be free cinema ticket for £250 spend at tesco

Can you use this on conjunction with Orange wednesdays?

The title says: "Cineworld or Odeon Cinema Ticket for £2.50 with Tesco Clubcard Boost". No mention that £2.50 isn't a cash amount. There's talk of clubcard, but this 'Boost' thing could be like the 'perks' for all we know.

"Cineworld or Odeon Cinema Ticket for £2.50 Tesco Clubcard Voucher" would be *much* more accurate.

No one is forcing you to buy the 2 porcorns and drinks though, also Vue let you bring in your own drink. That said Cinema only 'make' their money and popcorn and drinks.

Personally Cinema is still one of the cheapest form of entertainment around, look at the price of live football, theatre, comedy, going bowling, theme park etc; All a lot higher and most of them are around two hours long (except theme park).

It is actually better then spending £2.50 voucher at Tesco again.

thanks op

Went to see Pacific Rim last night... EPIC in every way possible!

Flippin. Well. Good.

I use my tesco credit card for everything, £500 spend = £2.50 in cc vouchers. Not to mention the 2060 points per £40 Xbox game recently (offer ended). Will be cashing in on this deal, as it costs £33 to take the family to Odeon, so a £40 pizza express and cinema for £20 in vouchers is a good deal

OMG - there is no pleasing some people (and before you shoot your mouth off, read the post/do some research ffs) Heat. Nice one OP.

Already spent my vouchers a few weeks ago

I saw it last wednesday, didn't think it was very good really

why is this so hot when you would have to have spent a fortune in tesco to actually get vuchers!!

Lets hope this deal is not removed like the petrol one.

Apparantely tesco deals are SPAM oO
