Cineworld Unlimited Card 12 months - £96 with Tesco Clubcard Boost

Found 13th Oct 2014
Looking at purchasing a Cineworld unlimited card and came across this.

You can use your clubcard points to purchase a 12 months Cineworld unlimited card (unlimited access to films, 7 days per week) for just £96 (usually £196.80).

This works out to just £8 per month or just under £1.85 per week! Pretty decent if you go to the cinema regularly - even once per week would make a huge saving.

Also, if you wish to renew after the 12 months, you can do so through Tesco Boost again, but still get the 'Premium' card.

Hope this helps, even if it's just one person!

How to place your order

1. Select the quantity of token codes you’d like using the basket on the right. Any change left over from your Clubcard vouchers will be added back into your Clubcard Account.

2. We’ll aim to send you two emails within 30 minutes – please note this may take longer due to additional security checks. One will be your order confirmation. The other will contain your token codes and instructions on how to use them.

3. Simply follow the instructions in your email to use your token codes.

I was looking at this myself. At £96 for a year's pass it's half the price of a normal membership so in that respect it's a good deal.

The only thing that made me decide against it is that I could instead use the clubcard points to triple the value on other things rather than double it with this offer. Still good if you have the points and want to buy now.

I have an intense dislike for anyone who has one of these cards .. because I can't get one

I don't leave near enough to a cineworld to make one worthwhile unfortunately

I had one for 14 months through the Argos gift voucher offer a while back. Saw tons of films, not all great ones.

Appreciate going the cinema more now since not renewing the card.

Also, with one of these, you can use EE/Orange Wednesday and get two tickets for £0!

I have been a member since the old UGC Cinemas (before cineworld). I have been from £7.99 a month to £16.90 and its still worth it!

I see on average 2 films a week and its an amazing way to catch up with films and friends too

Highly recommend!

I'm Already a premium card holder and tesco club card member.i don't have any tesco club card points as I just spent them all, so is there any way I can get this discount for the next 12 months ?

I've only got about £35 in my club card, anyway to boost the points other than spend more money to get to that £96 mark?

damn I used my points to get tickets to longleat safari park

These also work with orange Wednesdays counting as the paid person, works as a Discount too in places like Nando's 20% Frankie and Benny's 20%

Sorry, I don't mean to sound stupid but how do you work the Tesco Clubcard Boost work? I am so confused could anyone help ?

I pay full price for this. its absolutely awesome. seeing as many movies as you like. you also get notifications of early screenings of films which are for unlimited members only. I got to see the raid 2 3 weeks early because of it. it this price, it's a dealeo. only thing is that my nearest cineworld is a good 20 minute drive away. might be different for you guys but that's my only gripe.

Oh poor you, mine is 30 minutes by bus unless I want to watch a film in evening I have 1 bus a hour that goes through every estate and takes 70 minutes and last bus is 11 so I cant see some of the films I want lol.

my nearest cineworld is an HOUR away .. by train ..

So was mine but I moved recently which is why its closer, a hour by train is better than a hour by bus lol. I only got card as it was closer before that I had one 45 miles away(a hour by bus) and didnt get one because of that.

Anyway of getting this without having club card points?

Why would they give you a discount if you haven't got any points? It's the swapping of points that get you the discount!

So spend £9600 in tesco to save aout £100, and probably have paid many times more than £100 in their store. Not a great deal when you think of it like that

Our nearest is an hour away driving, if we are playing that game!

Mr SL + I used to live within a 20 min walk of a cineworld and had cards full price - worth every penny for us as we went frequently.

Hot deal, if you will watch enough films to make it worthwhile! But that won't be many films if you combine this deal with orange wednesdays!

I hardly shop at tesco but collect my cc points via other ways - the Tesco credit card/ topcashback etc I racked up a few hundred quids worth in just over a year.

I had this when I lived in Greenwich, did weekly trips to the O2, **** amazing deal! Especially as we combined it with Orange wednesdays aswell. It is a bargain if you like movies and live near a cineworld.

2p per Clubcard point is a par valuation. Decent deal, but nothing to get too excited about.

Cinema cards are 16.40 a month so its practically half price.

Would i be able to cancel my cinema card and get this? ive had it 6 years but this is such a saving.

Been the same price for several months. I don't see how this is a deal, considering the club card price hasn't changed in over 8 months or so?

you're not paying £9600 to save £100. You've *already* spent £9600 to feed your family, buying food, to survive. This is just a bonus.

1 tesco point = 2 pounds.
Why people can't get it? There are so many other things/activities tesco points could buy for half of the street price.

Do you have to have a picture on it just it would be good if I could give it to my daughter and family members to

Good point; any restrictions on giving them to other people to borrow?

It does need your photo and can only be used by the cardholder. Combine with Orange/EE Weds if you want someone else to get in free.

Not been to a cinema in years - too many people eating popcorn and continually texting for my like.

without this offer, I can get the same one yr membership for just £161...so cold for me...

You know, I've never seen anyone texting during the actual movie. And its been a very long time since I heard a phone ring, or heard someone speaking on their phone.

I've never used the clubcard online before. I've currently only got £35 worth of points. Can I use them like a voucher & pay for the rest?

I'm buggered if I know, if you could get a Cineworld Unlimited card for £96 I could understand why this would be hot, but this deal is only available in exchange for 9,600 clubcard points best of luck picking up those for £96.

IMHO there's plenty of much wiser ways to spend your clubcard points
