Using Shorts Argos deal you can purchase a Cineworld Unlimited One Year Pass for £135, as it is a £45 saving I think it warrants a deal of it's own.

First go to Argos, purchase 8x £20 and 2x £10 Cineworld gift cards under the current deal (you may have to buy two at a time).

Next phone Cineworld customer services on 08448157747 (option 4) or 0208 987 5000 (ask for customer services).

Then email all the giftcard codes on the back to the email address customer services gave you.

Very soon you will receive a code back to allow you to purchase your pass online (took an hour for mine). Go to Quidco (other cashback services are available), follow their link for £15 cashback.

Fill in the form, upload your mugshot, enter the code and you're done.

Sit back and enjoy the movies!

Remember it's not gym membership, so you will want to use it

Please note the Argos offer is any 2x £20 for £30 and any 2x £10 for £15.

Most store clerks dont seem to know how the card works.

So may be you could tell them to do the following on their till for the promotion code to work.

F4, F6, F5, F5 and then BLACK25

If the store clerk allows you to pick up more than 2 vouchers at a time (against their policy - for their lack of knowledge or oversight or compassion towards you), ensure you bill 2 at a time since their till gets stuck if you attempt anymore.

FYI: Lastly 1 X £20 and 1 X £10 does not combine.

The catalogue number is 996/0299. Unfortunately you would not be able to search for this on the Argos website. They though can search using this code on their stock checker computer and tell you in case some other store has stock.

Equivalent on £10 a month after cashback, sounds pretty good to me!

Also if you know anyone who is an existing member, you might be able to get the recommend a friend code and each get a free month on top.
They now only sell you two cards at once, so sadly you'll have to make 5 trips into Argos to make use of this deal
will stick to CAM downloads

its like your really there in the cinema

As I said "you may have to buy two at a time", just walk out the door and walk back in.

I watched South Park the Movie (bigger, longer, uncut) on a cam years ago, there was a guy in front of the camera wearing a massive cowboy hat, every ten minutes he'd stand up and walk about.

this seems complicated
Does anyone know if you use an Argos giftcard to buy the Cineworld gift cards?

Vouchers are instore, the Cineworld booking is done online.

An easier option is to just take the giftcards straight to Cineworld and they do it all for you. But you miss out on Quidco.

This is the cheapest way to get hold of Unlimited card. Neat work.

Also ask you employer whether they can negotiate discounts from Filmology. They do £35 discount on Unlimited card plus you can get £15 Quidco or TCB money.
Good find heat added.
£10 a month for a year doesnt seem like a deal to me.
Not with plenty of free films and 2for1 etc offers.
Bargain. Nice work OP.

The free films are usually at stupid o'clock on a Sunday morning and you can use this anyday of the week, not just Wednesdays. Go to see a couple of films a month it pays for itself easily.

Depends how often you go and what day of the week. My local cinema is £9 on weekends, if I go more than once a month I'm up. I find Orange Wednesday too busy for my liking and prefer to go on weekends. Not a deal for everyone, but every deal rarely is.
Sorry for appearing stupid, it's been one of those days! My card is due for renewal, but don't mind just getting a new one. How do you get the cards for £135 and not £180?

So getting to see any film you want , any time you want (providing you have a local Cineworld) for a monthly cost equivalent to slightly more than the cost of one visit isn't a deal oO

Argos is doing 2x £20 for £30 or 2x £10 for £15 on Cineworld and other leisure/restaurant gift cards.

Thank you! THought I had missed something simple and I had!
If only vue did the same thing I would jump at it.
1) IMHO cineworld is the worst out of all the chain cinemas.
2) Personally i wouldnt choose to go more than twice a month, due to decent films to go to.
3) I see plenty off good new films for free through ssf and can usually make the 6.30pm weekday or 10.30am sunday times
4) if i have to pay i can usually use orange wednesday, o2 priority or some other offer
Which means i personally cant see the value of having to pay £10 per month.
I can see it being worth it for anyone unless you live right next to a cineworld, dont mind what you watch, and have enough spare time to go more than 3 times a month.
It's worth remembering you can use Orange Wednesdays in conjunction with this as well. Add in 10% off food and drink and it doesn't take many trips for it to pay for itself.

I agree with vue comment. I would also jump at the chance but nope vue's promotions are non existent
This used to be £9.99 p month.
WHY the other cinemas dont offer a similar service is beyond me......i d also be in, in a second if odeon did it!
1) IMHO cineworld is the worst out of all the chain cinemas. Far better than my local Odeon den
2) Personally i wouldnt choose to go more than twice a month, due to decent films to go to. Your choice to which no one is interested
3) I see plenty off good new films for free through ssf and can usually make the 6.30pm weekday or 10.30am sunday times. Good for you but many people can't do it due to family, work or simply by not sitting all day long on HUKD and waiting for that free code
4) if i have to pay i can usually use orange wednesday, o2 priority or some other offer See comment above, not everyone keeps live orange, ee or o2 sims
Which means i personally cant see the value of having to pay £10 per month. Keep your personal opinion to yourself then

I make my reservations online so when my OH wants to go, she can print tix in self service booth and see movie for free. No need to show card then

Not sure if I agree with there only being two films worth seeing a month.
Take what's on at the moment
Django unchained
Lincoln
Les miserables
The impossible
Life of pi
The hobbit
Jack reacher
Gangster squad
The last stand
Not to every ones tastes but some of them are belters.

The best has got to be the iron man can that half way through the movie the film stoops for tech reasons and you see everyone Moaning and the. Film restarts 3 min later. Made me chuckle

I remember when a nickel would buy a steak and kidney pie, a cup of coffee, a slice of cheesecake and a newsreel, with enough change left over to ride the trolley from Battery Park to the Polo Grounds.

Yes this month is an exceptional month, i roughly worked out i would probably like to have seen ~50 of the films over the past year, but instead of paying £10 a month i would prefer to watch some for free, some discounted and the rest on rental or TV in the future.

Parking in front of Southampton Cineworld cost at least £3 everytime I go there, Odeon is free, just add extra costs plus deals like recent Disaronno and it won't be such a bargain..
is this instore only at argos?
damn this is a hot deal! just a shame my nearest cineworld will cost me £30 to get to...... BUILD 1 in LEEDS w4nkers
Great deal. I've a quick question

If I currently have cineworld unlimited, can I use the gift vouchers to buy additional months, like 12 so I won't have to pay £14.99 via direct debit?

Rubbish, I go there twice a week with my Cineworld card, its Free after 6pm (7 days a week) and staff give you a pass before 6pm if you ask.
Wife and I have had these cards for 11 months now and we've seen over 50 films! Its really been interesting as we've seen films that we normally wouldn't have considered going to(Ill Manors, Warehouse 24) and also we haven't had to worry about cherry picking which film to see.

Like others say though Cineworld isn't the best chain and we often find our local(Hull) gets very cold. We've started taking a small travel rug.
