Oh right lol in that case looks like ive found the one! Fab thanks!

I had one like this as my work laptop until recently, with an i7, with a webcam, fingerprint scanner and docking station. When the battery was new, it would go for about 2 hjours 30 minutes, with WWW browsing, email and the like. I then had an extra battery which doubled that. The second battery fitted underneath the case, adding about 15mm to the thickness, and 200-300g to the weight. Both of those batteries died after about 3 years. I got a £18 replacement from eBay about 6 weeks ago, which was OK, but only lasted 2 hours at most.

I had a 3 year warranty. Three days after that expired, it died. There were no lights on either battery or one of two power supplies, so I think it was something on the motherboard. I was planning to get a Haswell replacement in any case, so I haven't bothered to investigate further.

It had a fairly hard life. The only other things that broke were that the rubber buttons for the touchpad were peeling off. The case is nice and solid. There isn't a backlight for the keyboard, but there was a little LED light at the top of the screen which you could use to light up the keyboard. There are no USB 3 ports, but there is one eSata one.
