I've bought a few Citizen watches over the years, most around £400 plus.

This is also radio controlled.

I own Rolex, Breitlings, Omega's, Oris and quite o few other expensive watches. I still wear the Citizens from time to time.

£400 for a citizen watch, c'mon old chap that's bloody ridiculous.

Just because you don't like them, they are a popular brand. What is it you wear?

How could anyone who wears Armani or Hugo Boss watch slate Citizen? I've got a Citizen which I bought in 1990, which still works, I'd love to see these fashion house watches, which use their name on cheap Chinese watches.

I don't wear a Smart Watch but I do own one. I bought the Tag Heuer Connected. Which after 2 years, I'll get the value back from Tag, and put that into a mechanical watch.

Hugo boss, armarni? Fashion watches. Nowt wrong with them if that's your thing but citizen have been making watches for nearly a 100 years. I've had all sorts over the years and find some of these quite nice. Unlike my apprentice who bought an armarni mesh type chronograph at £195 and can honestly say was so cheaply made I would have been glad to have dropped it with the grab at the fun fair.

So if I'm right you own a tag, omega, breitling, rolex, oris you might kid some people but not me old chap.

And why would that be? Some people waste their money on Cigarettes, drinking or drugs. I waist money on watches, they are not all brand new and I've had some for a few years.

You are really comparing an eco-drive with perpetual calendar and radio controlled with...a hugo boss/armani?

I was thinking about buying one but decided against it as too much money but unlike you who are quite clearly trying to pull the wool over people's eyes by saying you own what you quite clearly don't.

No worries, what ever you say.

Haha thought so.

Classy looking watch.
I'd rather have one of these than some tacky look-at-me Rolex tbh, I'm a sucker for never having to change the battery and the time always being spot on without any adjustment.

Thanks OP... I buy it if I hadn't already bought a Red Arrows Citizen yesterday.

I've got a Citizen JY0110-55E Skyhawk A-T Red Arrows, great watch. Just like the Blue Angels, nice large watch.

(same price on Amazon)

Such a great watch and a great deal. I had the rose gold version on back order from Amazon at a similar price. Cancelled and bought this. Thank you!

I really should have gone for this when I saw it earlier, instead of waiting until I got home to order via the laptop

Well I have a Tag, Rolex, a couple of Dreyfuss and bought on here a citizen as my daily watch ... Rolex was inherited and Tag a present to myself- so not all of us on HDUK are lying, but instead may be a tad older (ahem mid 30's)

£400 for a full packed citizen is fair - designer watches are good in their place but the 2 I had were very poor quality to experienced watch brands

I'm actually shocked at the price that some of my old Citizen watches are now selling at. Watches which cost between £300 - £399, now selling between £499 and £599. I saw a Citizen JY0110-55E Red Arrows at £599 I paid £350 for it on a BA flight back from Trinidad a few years a go.
