Not very often you get an Eco Drive Chronograph for less than £100 even if very do probably make up the original selling price, seems to have free next day delivery using collect + too, nice Christmas present for someone.

Possibly 6% quidco too.

whats the model number of the watch

Not sure, doesn't say on the website, maybe if someone has a catalogue they will have more info in there? Catalogue number MN0851D.

Looks stunning from the pictures, i missed out on one similr last year, so ordered this one as i was in need of a decent ''going out watch''

im looking around the net now so will post more info if i find it

Many thanks,

Can't find it on the Citizen website. (Never seem to find ones that appear as deals on their site? Discontinued models maybe?)

Regardless, good price for an eco-drive watch. The original selling price probably isn't too far off the mark.

Heat from me.

Very similar to the AT0810-55X

You have to open an account with them?!

Very good for a cheap watch. My Omega costs more than this for a service.

One of my Rolexs strap pins cost more than this.

I was lucky enough to get an Ecodrive at 90% off from TK Maxx a year or two ago.

Well my Bvalgari costs more for a service than your Omega cost

I've got a similar one but with the diamonds on the outer edge I paid £299 for it so thats a bargain at £90

Similar again. It is usual for a manufacturer to release a few variants for different markets/countries.
The RRP won't be far off. £160 maybe.
Nice find.

For anyone that wants to pay on credit, there's a voucher code that gets you an extra £30 off your first purchase over £60, too. You have to sign up to a credit account on their website though and it has to be your first purchase. The promo code is 22DKL

How about people who dont want to sign up for the terms but just want to use a visa like at any other shop.

Not even close tbh.

Good deal. Citizen make a quality watch and are one of the few real watchmakers out there that produce everything in their watches. This will last a long time.

I'm not sure to be honest. I was just looking through a big pile of vouchers I had and saw this one. I think you have to sign up to the terms though, if I'm honest. The back of the voucher reads:

"The £30 discount is only applicable when you place your first credit order of £60 or more before 31st January 2012. The £30 discount is conditional on being accepted for a Very credit account and acceptance is subject to credit status. The discount will be applied as a credit to your account."

Apart from a cosmetic bezel they are the same.

sign up to very and pay on card, that can be done.

Forget that, no account for me, signed up couple years back, took 2 years! to get off their account list.

But it's not a Kinetic (Seiko's equivalent of the Eco-Drive). It's very unusual to get a nice Eco-Drive at this price.

Good price, but not for me.

Anyone else still enjoying the argos citizen deal watch from awhile back now? I am

I now have 3 spare watches and a death wish, wifes gonna be so pi$$ed. Thanks OP.

Quality watches for the price, don't look a bell wearing one either like omega, Rolex etc

Nice watch, wasn't this on offer at Argos last year for about £60/70?

I know the one you mean, probably the same on the inside but I think this one has a more functional "chronography" look, bit broader shoulder, numbers on the bezel, that kind of thing.

Also, for the person just wanting to pay by visa; you can do that no problem, you have to sign up to an "account" but as long as you don't choose to pay interest free then it's just like registering your details on any other site, no doubt there's a sneaky tick box somewhere to stop the marketing emails.

Yeah looks nearly the same except the inside edge of the bezel, all the very pictures look a bit weird, like they're computer generated and not photo's?

Its a computer generated illustration. Hopefully its not the brown version.

Citizen Eco Drive - fuelled by light.

The idiots who made that ridiculous TV ad - fuelled by peanut butter and meths (apparently).

Hubby been wanting one of these for ages too good to pass up at this price HOT!

the Seiko needs new batteries every so often whilst the Eco Drive is solar powered meaning that as you do not have to open the case to change batteries the water proofing will last so much longer - unless you want to pay to have the Seiko re-sealed each time the battery is changed.

cheers- ordered !!!
