I would imagine returns as it is not clear at all that you get a rubber strap. Especially as it advertises a titanium strap which is very misleading

Nice spot though

How do you know it comes with a rubber strap? as the description does say Titanium.

Definetly worth it if it is Titanium.
Looks a bargain. Don't need it but...

The strap is rubber what you cut down with a sharp blade

Wife likes a leather strap
Oos must of flogged on the returns they got from the last sale with the wrong boxes and slight defects
I've had a variant of this watch (same features, stainless steel finish) for the last couple of years. It's been absolutely superb.
I managed to order one, let's see what happens. If it is a return and in anything but pristine condition, they can have it back.

the last deal that was posted we all investigated, and it is a rubber strap...which I think is a bit of a con

I personally can not see how it is not a return, and they did not suddenly make more of them, plus their open door returns policy.... on the plus side it should not matter really as if someone tries it on and then takes it off and returns it, does not make a bit of difference.... if you buy something from a jeweller shop there is no way that item has not been tried on multiple times

Let's be honest here, a watch is a watch is a watch. I've got a £7 casio that is "superb" at what it does. What it doesn't do is make me feel superb

I e-mailed them - they confirmed it's a rubber strap with Titanium binding links - very misleading.

No way - a watch is a piece of art on your wrist, that just so happens to tell the time as well - multi-purpose!

Hmm, that is a shame well. I would have been OK with it being a return. I just had a read of the last time this watch was posted and most people got tatty boxes and some minor defects. As "the porter" mentioned you could coerce them into giving you some money back however as it is not a titanium strap I might have to return it. I'll see what it looks like once I get it. Thanks for the heads up!

Ordered it and it arrived today, completely as new with correct box & serial number. Battery was completely flat and took hours to come to life so I would guess it hasn't seen light for some time. Also warranty card filled out and stamped with date of order.

Well pleased
