Topped with a mineral crystal to protect the movement, the case and matching bracelet are both styled in stainless steel. Citizen Eco-Drive is fueled by light, any light, so it never needs a battery.

Heat for the price .
Thanks op(y)
Nice watch and a good price heat added
44mm - nice watch but it's a pity most of them are so big these days.
So for watch noobs like me, is eco drive one of the ones that doesn't need a battery?

Yup. Which saves a lot in the long run if you want to maintain water resistance (which with a normal battery powered watch would mean getting the battery changed for you).

In the last sentence of the deal description.

Hot. I've always liked Citizen's watches, they look better, on the whole, than Seikos. I have a Citizen Stiletto dress watch - Eco drive, sapphire crystal face and less than 4mm thick - a beautiful watch!

Funnily I had a look in Samuels window today, first time in ages.....surprised how ridiculously big some of these watches are these days.

You don't happen to have a spare link for the strap do you?

The bit it doesn't mention.

"But needs a capacitor replaced after about 8 years which citizen charge £120 for"

I got mine replaced for £45 at a local shop, so wasn't as bad.
Got this watch last a few weeks ago snd love it. I would rather the ‘big’ second hand be the second hand and the ‘little’ second hand be the timer (I don’t that makes much sense but if you own it I think you’d understand) but still an awesome watch. Heat.
Had a Citizen Eco watch after a year or two the strap next to the face showed signs of wear exposing a plastic link, shame really considering the outlay

It's not as big as you think.
My wrist size is just below average and this watch doesn't look too big on it.
I wouldn't worry too much.
Men's watches are meant to be bigger.
I bought this watch before and I like it a lot.

I would say after 8 years you might as well buy a new one for a hundred quid
I've had an eco-drive for about that long and haven't had to replace anything the chronograph doesn't work properly but I've never used it anyway

my watch cost a lot more than £100, and is still in great condition due it being titanium and sapphire glass. £100 one of these would look 8yrs old pretty quickly.

it was worth paying the money for the capacitor.

you will need to replace yours at some point.

Ah ok I thought you meant you'd paid £100 mine was only £60 so pointless changing a capacitor
