Personally I don't see the point of a non eco-drive Citizen. Doesn't seem great value and I can't believe it ever sold at that rrp. However, I know this is purely my opinion and not the point of this site and happy to be corrected if I have missed something with this.

But what about Seiko Quartz watches that get so much love?
Your just used to Citizen producing Eco-Drive watches, but I sort of get what you mean! Ha Ha

Don't really get them either, unless solar or kinetic, perhaps. Same as the Swiss quartz variants, to a certain extent - why not go mechanical /automatic - although I can see why someone would like a lovely watch they can just pick up and not worry about setting it and I'm not against quartz, itself, though. This particular watch doesn't seem to have anything specific going for it as there are similar styled, but cheaper quartz watches or for around this price, why would you not get an eco-drive?
