This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Watch lovers will know the Seiko Cocktail Time - here is a Citizen spin on this watch (?) with Sapphire Crystal, Titanium and 50M Water Resistance. Miyota 8210, which may put some off.

Saw this on the Creation blog (from a Facebook post)* and was struck how similar it looks - at a glance, anyway!

£192 with code MANONTIME

Other NJ2180 varieties here - different dial colours, and I must admit this watch style looks far nicer on a leather strap, easily remedied! Not sure of lug width but will edit if/when I find out.

Caliber: 8210
Sapphire Crystal
Blue Dial

50M Water Resistance
Approximate Case Diameter: 40mm
Approximate Case Thickness: 11mm

I'm not sure how things are with Creation these days with extra charges. Wise to assume you may get hit with VAT (20%) + Handling Free.
Royal Mail option is reckoned least likely (currently £6.19), Registered Airmail is Free, DHL is Free and most-likely to attract extra fees.

(which is around £30 more!)3378105.jpgCitizen Watches Australia has a page about the NJ2180-89L and says the RRP is $650 (Australian Dollars)

Built using Super Titanium and Sapphire Glass, it is 5 times harder than stainless steel yet 40% lighter, making it resilient to the rigours of everyday wear.

*The other two mentioned in Creation Watches' blog post are, the 45mm NJ0100-89L in Blue/Stainless Bracelet, and NJ0100-38X in Green/Leather Bracelet, which are also Miyota 8210, but 100M Water Resistance and Mineral Crystal.

Other NJ0100 options here - the cheapest being NJ0100-89E in Black/Stainless Bracelet - MANONTIME takes it to £1033378105.jpg3378105.jpg

For reference, here is the Citizen NJ2180-89L next to the Presage SRPB41 (both stock pictures)39545689-WAxgT.jpg39545689-JHG7m.jpgIs it as cheeky as the "coming soon" Invicta Seiko Samurai-alikes? You decide!

Few deals on creation watches but lots of people talking about the import duty?

I always mention it, because if I don't, someone else will...but the confusion, for me, lies with the Royal Mail shipping option. It was considered the safest bet (after Creation Watches stopped putting "$15 Measuring Device" on their Customs Declaration sticker) but a few have recently said they still got charges.

At least, I assume this is the case, because when I ask people to clarify what they mean they don't usually reply!

I'm torn between something like hsamuel.co.uk/web…ch/ and this one :P. Any advice :)?

I don't know your taste or your requirements. Of course Eco-Drive is wear it and forget it. Automatics need a bit more attention if they're off the wrist for a day or so, or if you're very inactive.

Btw, the Miyota 8210 Hand-winds but doesn't hack (suppose you could back-hack when the energy reserve is low?).

H Samuel option is OOS...... decision made. This one, in any case imo.

I think wear and forget might suit me better for now. Still on the search for a titanium sapphire ecodrive around the £200 :P. Like the perpetual days it has as a feature also.

If purse strings are tight after Xmas, you could get one of the Lorus Quartz Titanium options - though that too seems to be out of stock (at the £25 mark, at least) everywhere I look! Might crop up somewhere again.
I have three “normal” watches Omega Seamaster, Rolex Date Just and Citizen Ecodrive.

i wear the citizen most of the time great watch great time keepin
The Seiko cocktail is streets ahead, not sure it’s that much more cash either, maybe £60?

Suppose it depends on whether you have allergies, like the dial, price, and want Sapphire crystal. I thought it was a nice curiosity anyway.

Whilst reading about it before falling asleep I saw that Citizen mention their proprietary, extra-hardened "Super Titanium" (though I think it's been around for decades)
Weirdly, I couldn't see any watch forum-ites talking about this watch at all. Seiko definitely gets all the love/attention and Citizen doesn't - why, I don't know. Maybe if this had a Miyota 9015 inside people would be more excited.

Edit: This Xiaomi Youpin is the closest I have to the Cocktail Time (though it's a Rado Coupole Classic copy, it turns out) should really wear this, not worn it for ages - I preferred the Black though the Ali seller sent me the White after some weirdness at their end). Great for the £50 paid, though not quite in the same league.
