Lovely watch for those spondoolies.
This or the promaster that was on offer on amazon recently?
Nice watch. As I always say when this watch gets posted though - Argos is wrong about the lug width. It's 23mm not 22mm, so bear that in mind as restricts aftermarket options. I returned mine because of this, and despite emailing them they haven't bothered to change it.

What a lovely chap you are :-) Either would be a great gift. Just down to personal taste really. I personally prefer the other one.
This is a big boy at 47mm so maybe see if you can try it on first at an Argos branch before leaving the store with it, but cracking value for an ISO rated 300m diver. 23mm lug width sounds like a pain though.
It's a really nice watch. Might be the only watch I regret selling.

Aaa! I really like this but can’t buy another watch.
I've got this. Lovely watch but the strap didn't last very long. Wasn't able to get an aftermarket strap to fit the curvature of the case so it's on a NATO now.
Very Good price but as noted that’s a 23mm curved fitted strap you will need to retain the look. Yes you could buy The OEM Citizen replacement strap or tweak some 24mm Milanese/mesh or leather straps, but it would need the right strap, otherwise you are limited to the likes of a NATO.

I am guessing this is a 22mm strap?

The watch is massive, go see it in store first before buying. Nice looking watch but massive. It has also got some height to it :0
It's a chunky, robust watch, but I'm not sure I'd say it's massive. I don't have particularly big wrists and I think it's fine. But as you say, worth seeing in the flesh first should you feel the need.

Maybe chunky was the right word

It was a cheap 24mm mesh from aliexpress, I had to squeeze the end to fit, maybe slightly too much.

You would definitely be able to nip half a mm off of either end of a 24mm Milanese or mesh strap with the “tube” section on the end. Just 15 minutes work with a small needle file or a Dremel. (Below shows type I mean).

If I still had the watch I would probably buy better mesh and do that.
