Found this deal originally when looking for a car for my daughter. The deal expired a while ago but is back again @ Evans Halshaw.

I ended up helping my daughter buy a used c1 (although much older) I am genuinely impressed by the car as basic no frills reliable transport.

Quality little city car based on same car as the Toyota Aygo & Peugeot 108.

This is the higher spec "feel" with air con, elec windows, 7 inch touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard, DAB digital radio/MP3 audio system with 4 speakers, Bluetooth® handsfree, USB socket and steering mounted

Nice price for the spec @ on the road cash price of £7440 for Pre Reg 19 Plate With Delivery Miles. Or add extra £550 for the 5 door version here: evanshalshaw.com/new…er/

Buy from them, yes.
Never go back for anything else.
customer service sucks.
I paid £2600 for my old banger. I believe that when it has done two years, it will have cost me far less than renting a car over that time. I will then also have an asset worth £1500. This deal does though seem like a better bet than that. Maybe I'm in a different position to most in that I don't care what others people think of my motor.

Very good fuel consumption. My friend has 108 automatic. £20 road tax. …Very good fuel consumption. My friend has 108 automatic. £20 road tax. Saves on free money going to the government as well as half of fuel cost is fuel tax .

Sadly I don't think £20 road tax exists anymore. Would be £140 I think.

What does delivery mileage mean? At its most simplified, delivery mileage is defined as the limited number of miles on a new car, clocked up by transportation either from the import location to the dealership, in-between dealerships or from the dealership to the buyer
Nearly sold...3 door model.
Had a few new cars, delivery miles have been anywhere from 3 to 15 miles showing on the dash.
My car was a pre reg like this one.
It had 5 miles before I had a test drive, 9 miles afterwards.
On the paperwork it states 50 miles as comp would not allow less.
I think you will be classed as the second owner due to it being pre registered.( not a problem for me ).great deal,
My daughter had the Peugeot 108 as her first car (same car badged as a Pug with some different trim details,it's also sold as the Toyota Aygo and is actually built by Toyota at their joint facility in the Czech Republic) well built, economical and safe a great first car.

Voted hot!! Great deal, wish there was an automatic version on offer though.
Can you buy it outright from them?
The only options I can see online are PCP
Total Amount Payable = £8,698.81
Picture shows a 5 door so cold from me
Anyone know if they offer scrappage/minimum trade-in?

They will probably offer the 'on the road price' if you phoned up, there doesn't seem to be a finance deposit contribution included.

Worst case, if they won't sell without finance - take it on finance, phone within 14 days to withdraw from finance, pay full amount. You'll owe a few days interest but otherwise be clear.

Less than 8k it's hot, more than it starts to get warm, forced into finance and then it starts to put a chill in the air.

First year you paying by emission then £140 following years
Thanks OP - I'm interested in purchasing this, I haven't purchased a new car in over 15 years and thought I wouldn't buy a new car again...
One thing I don't understand is the "on the road price (£7440) and the total payable (£8699). If you already have the funds, do you have to take out their credit, or can you just pay the £7440?

I reckon they would give you a couple of grand off the price of this car and if you are good at haggling maybe a couple of free services lol

Hi,

A cash price is as it sounds so if paying outright then it should be available BUT if not then do the following:

if they won't sell without finance - take it on with the finance, & then phone within 14 days to withdraw from finance agreement & pay full amount off, thus getting it for £7440.

Good luck

My mate did this with mercedes, Got even more discount with finance.
The finance starts the day the car was delivered.
Took delivery and checked out the car fully and when happy parked it up on the drive.
Called the finance company and paid it off.
I dont think he even paid a penny in interest.
is there automatic version of this car for this deal please? I can't seem to find it on Evans Halshsaw website. thanks!

Yes and they always take the scenic route via Spain, Morocco and South Africa so expect to get a car with a few thousand miles on the clock.

More seriously, delivery mileage is the test mileage (if any), the mileage to drive it onto a trailer and off at the other end, and for the dealer to drive it around a bit.

Should be around 10 miles.

From France?

Sorry, I'm just being silly. As mentioned by others, delivery mileage is standard on virtually all new cars. It's generally just test mileage or from one local dealership to another. Up to 40 miles, but usually less than half that.
Can't believe they listed "Wheels" as a feature for this model :-))

🤪🤪🤪
Good price and should be around this always. We have the older version of the C1. As OP states, they are no frills motors but have had a few creature comforts added over the years. RRP of new Aygo is ridiculous.

Some dealers call it delivery mileage, some call it Pre registered. All it means is you’re the second registered keeper of the vehicle on the V5, no?

I don't think people are buying a C1 for the street cred. More likely the fact that it's going to give you a few years of trouble free motoring with no unexpected costs (with anything else covered by the warranty and service plan).

You can't get that from a £2600 car. Although you can get a used car warranty to cover yourself - something which a lot of people who lease or finance tend to overlook.
