Someone who lives 10 miles from their work, works 5 days a week has 4 weeks holiday, gets their shopping delivered, goes on holiday on a plane and gets a taxi when going out at night.
Should easily leave them 200 miles to drive to and from the garage getting it repaired.

you missed off the £300 fee which seems rather high to me. Brings this to about £164.80 a month. My Peugeot gti deal runs out this month, not sure this will be replacing it.....

I do about 3k miles a year, it's bizarre that you find it strange that not everyone does the same mileage as you.

If you do less than 3k a year and lease then your positively crazy. Or as the lease companies might say 'an ideal customer'

you don't have the slightest idea of anything to do with me, so keep your idiotic words to yourself.

I've just ordered my new C3 Feel 1.2 Puretech £149 deposit and £149/month on a PCP 4 years, 8000 mile allowance per year,1st of April can't come sooner

that is one seriously ugly motor

Not as crazy as doing 3000 miles a year and buying a brand new car every 2 years. Which is the alternative to this deal.

I agree I do 2500 miles a year and leasing is very cost effective compared to buying.

If the excess mileage on this deal is more than 6.6p/mile, which I think it is (at 7.2p), one would be better to get the 8k miles/year deal here.

I rarely drive at all during the week, my driving is mostly at the weekends.
I rarely exceed 5000 miles pa
So what do I need a car for?
The weekends - that's what for

Close enough - I live 10.1 miles from work and I get 5 weeks holiday a year! We use my wife's car for shopping and evening/weekend driving, so I do just under 5000 miles a year in my car. I do have to drive 2 miles to/from the garage to fill up every few weeks, but there are a few bank holidays that compensate for those extra miles!

At one time only 20 year old cars used to run around with odd colour panels - now they sell them like it from new! Suppose it's the car equivalent of jeans with holes in them from new
