You should probably explain to people why this is hot, I presume you think so?

Most people will assume Citroen C4's are not a good deal at any price unless you like C1 loaners from the dealers while they sort out the problems.

For a cheap new car for a year it isn't bad, great if someone needs a stop gap car. Yes French car's have issues (I've had a Renault before) but I don't believe that there should be many issues with a car that you will have for a year.

Gets 5/5 on Auto Express:

It's a £175 per month. Hell no
1 year leases are unusual - looks a good deal to me if you need a family hatch.

yes, there are cheaper cars, but this is well speced, and the days of Citroen reliability issues are way behind them. They are no better or worse than many other manufacturers
Ugly car. Not a good deal IMHO.

Have you seen the prices for these from Citroen? I agree its an ugly car but price-wise this is a good deal.

£15K through a broker.

Would this need a service and are the conditions tighter on acceptable wear and tear on shorter leases?
so am i reading that right, 1378.80 + 725.89 = 2014.69 for the full year divide by 11 = £175.39 per month... thats a good deal based on 10k milage. but yer ugly car lol
A brand new family car for £40 a week seems a bargain, depreciation must be at least twice this.
Dad has one of these, seems a nice car. Good deal for a decent size car
Ordered one of these through Skyfleet works out £5 a month more overall but lower upfront cost. Had Picassos for the last12 years with no major problems.

I doubt it would if it's only a year. I would assume that the same BVRLA wear and tear guidelines would apply. I am told they are pretty generous as to what they allow.

"French Cars" means what? It sounds like a WIDE swathe of cars - esp as these aren't made in France (Spain!)

But then 'German' cars aren't all made in Germany - many of those highly desirable Audis people drool over come from Hungary, Nissan - Japanese as hell - made in Sunderland and so on.

It's 2015 - can we PLEASE stop slapping xenophobic/lazy stereotype labels on everything like Alf Garnett is still on TV - can we maybe judge things on more practical and less fuzzy/stupid/outmoded concepts?

Thx

French cars no thanks, especially Citroën. Their skips on wheels.
10,000 miles per year. Fine if you work at the end of the street.
I had a Renault Scenic for 12 years (51 plate) it was a great car . Gave up the ghost last year. Great family car regarding space and boot size. Family size cars now a days seem to have SHRUNK! By the way after the year do you have to carry on leasing others or can you just walk away with no strings attached.
I realise diff manufacturer but relative to size.o

Very well thought out comment. Well worded and makes so much sense. Ok, not really but thanks for trying.

Saying French cars no thanks means what exactly?

I've had new Audi and VW cars in the past, all have had more problems than my current little Citroen. So does that mean all German cars mean, no thanks too? What do you drive? I hope it's not a VW group car, most of which have terrible reliability.

It'll probably be a Ferrari or a Pagani knowing just what type of person you sound like you are.

Good day. Plonker!

I live 10 miles from work and have two 600 mile round trips for my holidays. I average 8000 a year and my wife does 5000. 10000 is plenty for many people.

They price matched a deal that I had seen on another website. I went with them as I had already completed the credit application forms for another deal but missed out on that one as I was on holiday and by the time I got back the stock was all gone. I just did an Internet search for offers for Picassos and emailed it over to see if they would match it.

Have you actually owned or driven one before forming such a knuckle dragging opinion? French cars are the opposite of most cars out there i.e. innovative, original and stylish. The DS was 30 years ahead of it's time. They are not for the masses.
