It gets 55.4mpg.

A Bentley gt coupe gets 13-15mpg on a good day, and an Aston martin vantage is 14.4mpg

Nice car for not much cash. Wish I could afford one! Hot

Definitely a lady drivers car.

I have the Ds3 D Sport plus quite happily getting 88 mpg at 62 motorway.
60 mpg around town.
lovely cars.

Good job your not made out of wood? Your nose would be over 4ft long from that last comment you made...

lady driver's car ?
why is that ?

Looks good, drives well, screwed together well, great price. What's not to like?

What a pile of cr#p - there has never been a good one made!

Its a Citroen, how can it be screwed together at all.. Usually its a bit of duck tape & a wish & a prayer :P

Citroen gearboxes are like trying to post a soggy baguette through a tight front door letter box.

Hyundai are much better.

Is that on the back of the tow truck?

have to say every single citreon van at work has had something go wrong. gearbox, turbo, filters to name a few. fleet cant wait to get rid. wish I was joking but id never buy one

The Ds3 Dsport Plus 110 BHP 1.6 diesel figures show:

Urban - 61.4 mpg

Extraurban - 83.1 mpg

while the 90 BHP 1.6 diesel :

Urban - 64.2 mpg

Extraurban - 85.6 mpg

So yes, the guy/girl above who said is getting 60mpg around town and +80mpg on the motorway might be true.

they all get call sh*treons

try one and see.
very impressed with motorway mpg.
may not be going 70/80 mph quite happy doing 60/62 and getting 88.1 mpg last trip from Manchester to Birmingham.
don't believe me, no loss to me.

I believe real world figures and not car brochure figures.

False price, cannot be purchased for cash at the listed price, add £1000 or £1500 to price for cash.

So what you are saying is that all the lengths that car manufacturers go to get the very best MPG in near perfect test conditions for their 'claimed' MPG figures, you managed to beat them on an 80ish mile trip on one of the most congested motorways in the country?

I can see three possibilities here;
1. Your fuel computer is way out (most likely)
2. What jasonh1339 said
3. You are possibly the greatest economical driver the world has ever seen and should immediately start a new career in car testing.

Good point. The interest should be added to the deal price too.

Gotta say Citroen have really come on with these DS models, I had a play in a top spec DS5 a few weeks ago and the gadgets were amazing and loads of little odd windows everywhere. 100 times better than the Xsara VTR I had at the turn of the century.

Sadly, they are still made by Citroen, so not for me I'm afraid.(_;)

I have been using a 1.6 DS3 DStyle+ as my company car for the last 8 months so a few pointers for you.

100% reliable, never used a drop of oil in 9500 miles, all the electrics, trim and mechanicals were spot on. We have 2 of these on fleet and both have been faultless.

It is a fun thing to drive. The 120 hp engine is no rocket ship but on my 22 mile daily commute it was plenty with a good spread of torque. Economy was 44 mpg and I never drive with economy in mind. I drive a lot of different makes and Models and for a 1600 petrol 44 is pretty good (better than any 1.6 Juke, Astra, 1.4 corsa,207)

The interior is a quality item being very stylish and easy to use. I have upgraded to an RCZ gt with full leather but would swap for the ds3 interior again.

Spec wise the only addition I would make would be to upgrade the stereo for one with USB and Bluetooth. The DStyle+ standard kit was spot on apart from that.

The car in the deal with the 6 speed box and extra 35 ponies would be a great car to own and the price looks pretty good. You would not be disappointed.

I have foolishly had two new Citroens. Never again. Should have learned from the first.

Good for you. I believe real world figures would mean to test the car yourself and see what you get, not pretended real figures provided by some random reviewer. By just looking at the name of the website it makes me NOT visiting that website any time soon.

So you`re saying that by looking on Youtube at a guy giving his personal opinion regarding a car, you know about cars. You are funny :)!
