example citylink gold glasgow to inverness free tea or coffee sandwich and scone or cake £2 happy days
Mentioned this in nicster's Saturday newspaper post yesterday (comment 3). Couldn't be bothered posting separately, but it did go hot when I posted it last year, so good luck to you. +4 from me.

Wife did the Glasgow to Inverness last year to visit the daughter. £2 for the bus, and as you mention, tea and a sandwich. Can't be too bad.

do mega bus do any decent food on board ? and what about loo facilities ?
I'd never set foot on one of these hell on wheels buses again. Not being funny, not I was out of my comfort zone, surrounded by scum.

excellent.. I take it there is waitress service too
Just bought. Great offer. Thank you.
Unbelevable offer! After buying bus tickets for my trip down to Edinbugh for the Irish rugby game! Just after moving to Aberdeen from Ireland so I'll prob buy another trip or two!

Just to confirm I don't need to bring a voucher or anything with me on the day?! So no purchase necessary? And the tea/coffee, sandwhich and cake/scone comes with every ticket!? Seems too good to be true! Didn't see anything about tea or coffee on my ticket so just wondering how it works....

Feb 29th??

The Citylink Gold is the service that should come with free sandwiches and tea/coffee as far as I recall, not the others.

lol anyone who feels the need to have to eat and stuff their face during their 2 hour bus journey should either get a grip or just buy a sandwich from boots instead of paying £££ for utter drivel on board. Utter laziness.

Its like the gimps you see buying loads of stuff on the trolley that comes past on the train.

Cracking deal !!!! Hot
Remember... you only get food and tea if the waitress bothers to turn up for a her shift.
Which she didn't the last time I went on a 'Gold' trip from Glasgow to Aberdeen...

You don't pay for the food on board, it's free! (_;)

Exactly, a £2 fare and free snacks (IF you get them...), what's all the bloody complaining about?!

Got myself and a mate a single from Aberdeen to Glasgow and a single back the next day... £8! Hotel for one night, £38 with possible 15.15% cashback... Not bad!!!
Thanks OP!

So taking 30 seconds to buy a prepackaged sandwich makes you not lazy? Making one yourself in the morning would give you such a status. Pharmacy sandwich. Yummy.
Honeymoon sorted :-)
aww, sweet!
instead of paying 16 quid to get to Crianlarich I only paid 2.
how I love this website ♥
Ahhhh so happy, Booked tickets to go home which would nearly cost upwards of £40 on the train for £4 chuffed much
I tried the promotional code last week and it worked, but today the website only shows me regular prices... is this a website issue or is your information wrong?

Yes it seems to be done. Booked 3 weekends worth of tickets for either me or my girlfriend to travel to see each other, £12! brilliant.

Normally we can't see each other as often as we'd like, what with studying in separate cities and the cost of travel, so seeing each other 3 weekends in a row is amazing!

one of my lectures on friday got moved and I was on my way to book a later bus using this code, and it no longer works Looks like I'll be missing that lecture then and getting on the bus!
