First deal, be gentle etc. I've yet to play this one but I enjoyed Civilization IV and figure this is worth a punt.

Major major heat for this

I dunno paying £6 to lose sleep through addiction is a harsh price to pay
Has Steam done this cheaper themselves before?

Nope. As far as I'm aware, this is the cheapest it's been anywhere since its release. Voted hot!

The cheapest Steam have ever sold it for was last week when they had it as the weekend deal at ~£10.50. I actually recommended it to a few friends at that price, kind of hope they don't see this post now!
Nice, site is going very slow though
Heat added! Great service too, I am away from the UK so the prices were in EUR for me but they replied within 20 minutes and made everything in GBP!

Just to let everyone else know, it is the steamplay version so you can install on both PC and Mac from this code!
I see Play.com has the GOTY edition for £17.99 was wandering how that equates to this deal?
Thanks OP, nice find, ordered and heat added. Great game and excellent time thief!!!
Having mastered all the other CIVs over the years (completed on full, max, ultra hard mode) I can say that civ V is the most challenging of the lot. I am yet to complete it with all the settings maxed out after at least a year of playing. My point being this is one of the best civs yet and will challenge advanced gamers, but it may also act as a black hole to your free time.
Cheapest it's been on sale is £12, so major heat.
Awesome, thanks man!

Steam had the regular edition on sale for £10.50 or so on their Weekend Deal this weekend just gone, and the Deluxe Digital Edition for £13.60, which I did get. TBH, I'd have been happier with the £6 vanilla version being offered here as it's still the game and quite a saving over Steam's most recent offer.
Fantastic
Crazy price, have some heat OP!
Cheapest I've seen it, nice one!
Gotta luv Green man gaming the most poorly run and most unprofitable site there is. I've managed to get Total War Rome, Shogun 2, Napoleon, Mafia, Assassins creed, Condemned, Civilization 5, R.U.S.E, Tropico 3, Arma 2, Men of War all for free by buying and trading in games or by free codes for games they do deals on games then a few days later the trade in is far more than what you paid. Best example would be The First Templar buy £7 trade in £17.50. The only money I spent on there was the day it launched and I broughgt 6 games for 1p and managed to turn that into a fortune.
Ridiculously hot price.

Have some heat.
Well done! I purchased and it activates on steam with the serial perfectly! Any other GMG games activate on steam?
Great price thanks

I'd love to know where you find the info to be able to do this...but then, who wouldn't like free games?

Mainly on hotdealsuk just last week or 2 there was 3 codes from the Sun Newspaper that gave you Arma 2, some tower game and Men of War for free, few months back there was a £20 off code, a code to get Necrovision Lost Company for free etc etc. The main reason of how at one point I got my credit to £59 from spending 6p on 6 games at the site slaunch was over xmas buying and trading in during all the sales.

Nearly got this on the last steam deal. Not like me to hold out either. Good spot.
Says $11.95 for me and the actual game page won't load when clicked on

It says £5.99 for me. Why is yours coming up in dollars?? But a rough conversation would make $11.95 about right
Loads fine, still £5.99
cn an admin unexpire this please? its still £5.99, I would vote hot!
Why's this expired? It still says Buy Now on the store page. Someone not like Steam?
I don't know why it's in $ I'm in Gibraltar atm, I just signed up on the site and still can't see the page. It's probably some country restriction
Just bought it, never played the Civ games before, but at this price I thought why not!!!

Thanks OP
Cheers OP!
Nice price. Need to get back into the Civ series.

On holiday or extended visit?
If you know someone who lives in the UK they could buy it and email you the Steam code.

Might be worth trying a UK proxy too...

Definitely shouldn't be expired, just purchased. Been waiting for this to be bargain price. Thanks OP!
steam had this reduced to £10.20 the other day which is the lowest I have seen it but this offer beats that hands down.

hot deal is right.
also just purchased, thanks very much OP, been waiting awhile for this, great price!!!

Purchased and downloading now.
Steam's service has improved DRASTICALLY since I was gaming on PC in years gone by. 4.2MB/s download rate is lovely!
