If you buy a Huawei Mate 10 Pro you can claim a £40 amazon gift card.

I think you can also claim the £100 cashback as well, although not 100% sure.

So we could essentially buy from mobilephonesdirect for £649, claim the £100 cashback, wait until that deal ends then claim the £40 voucher from amazon.
Essentially paying £509 for a massive top of the range phone.

Heat hope it's both as picking mine up from Vodafone tomorrow
According to the terms:

The promotional campaign cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers, allowances, rebates or discount campaigns of HUAWEI.

So you gotta make your choice, £40 Amazon voucher or £100 cashback.

"The promotional campaign cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers, allowances, rebates or discount campaigns of HUAWEI."

Looks like you can't combine the 2 offers according to T&C's

I imagined but the 100 pound runs out so I think I'll give 100 ago then give the 40 ago once the offer finishes

Well, worth a go.
I might go for this:

Vodafone 48 per month plus £19 up front for 16gb
30% off due to my work discount
£100 off cash back
£70 quidco
£40 Amazon

Works out to be £615.40 if you count the Amazon voucher hmm or do I wait for all the new phones? Like honor view 10 ?

I am not sure quidco will pay after getting 30% off

In that case I might hold out...hmm decisions decisions

I've really been considering this phone. As the £100 cashback claim form opens on 3rd January, and the £40 Amazon gift card claim form opens on 1st February; it's very possible that you'd be able to claim the cashback, receive it, and then claim the Amazon gift card...
This appears to be a very good deal although do we think the price is going to come down even more in January especially as it's having to compete with the one plus 5t.

Huawei honor view 10 is competing with one plus 5t not this phone. This completes against lg v30, s8plus or note 8, iphone x

I doubt phone will go down that much until nearer when the next one comes out or p11 is near

Where is that £100 claim thing you mentioned? - as I honestly can't find anything via your supplied link (I can see the £40 Amazon Gift Card though).

Very tempted...what do you think guys?
Unfortunately the T&Cs mention the following:

Private customers who are resident in the UK (hereinafter referred to as “participant(s)”) and who purchase the HUAWEI smartphone models stated in section 3 in the period from 18 December 2017 to 4 February 2018 (“promotion period”) in the UK are eligible to participate. Employees of HUAWEI and the agencies involved in the promotional campaign and their family members are not allowed to take part. The promotional offer does not apply to devices that have been acquired from private sellers or in online auctions. The date of invoicing and, in the case of online purchases, the date the order was accepted shall be authoritative. A maximum of one promotional device per person and a maximum of two promotional devices per household can be registered. The promotional campaign cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers, allowances, rebates or discount campaigns of HUAWEI.

Take that back! I've tried the Mate 10 Pro and I'm seriously considering getting one. Trust me, this phone is up there with all the current flagships - blazing fast, stunning screen, incredible camera and the best battery life of any flagship. Just because Huawei are still growing their brand outside of China does NOT mean their phones are bad...
Until you need warranty service, or expect regular updates for the phone? Huawei build quality is still not there with Apple, Samsung etc.

Huawei phones justaren’t worth £550, sorry..

Door to door service offered on the Mate 10 Pro in the first 12 months... 2 year warranty - please give details about the poor warranty service you have experienced; as the door to door service is currently unparalleled. I have a P10 and I have never had to worry about any warranty issues with it, brilliant piece of kit.

Have you actually had a play around with a Mate 10 Pro? The build quality is definitely up there with the best, it is a quality flagship phone.

Completely agree with you! So many people in the comments saying the phone and Huawei as a company are crap, despite having no experience with either. The Mate 10 Pro is one of the top current flagships, and Huawei are one of the biggest smartphone brands in the world...
Right decision time.....I own a Pixel XL 32GB which I'm generally happy with except for the low storage space...I keep running out of it! So I'm thinking of upgrading to this phone but not 100% sure and need some guidance! I must say I do like a decent camera as I use my phone for all my photography needs!

Am I mad to get rid of Pixel XL? Am I just wasting my money? Is it not much of an upgrade to warrant the cost of upgrade?

Lastly, I'm a little concerned if Huawei would keep the software updated on this for at least Android 9? I'm not sure about their previous record on software updates. Are there any decent custom ROMs for this phone?

Thanks in advance - and if I did purchase today I would imagine I'm still within the claim period or do I need to have the phone delivered to qualify for the £100 cashback?

In terms of the camera and you mentioning photography - the DXO rating (an industry standard) for the Pixel (assuming the XL and standard Pixel are the same) is 89 whereas the Mate 10 Pro rating is 97

dxomark.com/pix…op/
dxomark.com/hua…ce/

If you sell the Pixel XL you could offset the cost of the Mate 10 Pro - plus still take part in the £100 cashback (pending the retailer you purchase it from / t's&c's). You need the IMEI of the new Mate 10 Pro to make the claim - but you could try and get it for delivery tomorrow?

Ok so Apple and Samsung launch expensive phones and everyone heaps scorn in them.
A large Chinese but largely developing brand launches a phone not much cheaper than Applsung and people wet themselves.

What happened to all the phones are way over priced. Buy a cheaper Chinese knock off for under £200?
Anybody received their voucher yet? Can they share the process etc?
