Carphone Warehouse are holding the same offer for anyone who prefers them: carphonewarehouse.com/goo…=ds

Also seems like John Lewis, EE, Google Store are all holding the same offer

Lots of retailers are... It was a very hot deal when announced. It's better to buy from John Lewis as they provide a 2 year guarantee.

I use Adguard but it's super easy to turn off from the notification quick settings > refresh > turn back on when this happens

Is this Dual SIM?
Do you think you could return the phone and keep the headphones?

Probably not unfortunately
Such a let down from Google. They're still using camera tech from four years ago.

Good deal considering you get a set of premium cans like that for free, otherwise the phone itself is massively overpriced on its own.

The camera is solid though. Why rock the boat when the sensor + software combo universally gets positive reviews.

Now removing the neural core and using a cheaper chipset...that is a poor show.

Only 1 physical NanoSIM slot + 1 eSIM.
Any idea when all these headphones will start appearing on eBay?

Go for OnePlus 8t if you want dual SIM. I'm a big pixel fan, and sadly I think I would pick the OnePlus 8t over the pixel 5.
Don't forget to put the headphone on eBay, auction only, on the day you receive them.

Receive your Bose QC 35 II headphones within 60 days of your claim being validated. My guesstimate is between late November and January.

Thanks OP, got one and will cancel my Google store order which was scheduled for another 3 weeks until delivery. Also used work vouchers so got 6% off.

Not sure how much stock they have as Balham went oos while I was ordering and only 1 other store near me had any

It's against the Terms and conditions but yes, you could easily do it and very unlikely bit would be noticed. Best to buy the phone from John Lewis if you're doing that as they've got a longer return window.

Depends what you want in a phone. The only reason to buy the pixel is for the camera which is still likely the best in any phone. The OnePlus camera is terrible when compared to the pixel. If you want a decent camera in this price range the only real choices are pixel or iPhone.
Also, the pixel is effectively dual SIM as it's eSim plus physical SIM.

Do you know if you can have it delivered to another person and still use BLC? Basically my sister wants this phone and I have a BLC

what's BLC?

if its mobile banking or software related. you should be. No issues with where you have it delivered and who uses it.

So long as obviously your payment method allows delivering to a different address than your bank card is registered to.

It might trip up fraud alert, as that is how a lot of identity scam credit card fraud is done.

Blue light card. People with a BLC can buy argos vouchers with a discount but I was wondering if there was rules about using the discount to buy vouchers for a family member.

I've got a pixel 4 and a big Google fan so I'm not being biased. After watching the following videos I'd be hard pressed to pick the 5 over the 8t if I was spending my own money, the camera isn't night and day different in performance anymore.

I've watched a few reviews but I don't put much faith trust in reviewers who are given the hardware free. Switched off the first one you linked to when he claimed the camera sensor in the pixel 5 is the same as the pixel 2. It's not.

The reality is the pixel will be a better camera than any other android phone. The 8t will be better in every other way, (except too big for my liking).

Pixel 2 rear camera used Sony IMX362, and since then Google has continued to use the IMX363, Google relies on clever coding to make the magic happen. If all you want is a good camera, might as well buy the 3a or 4a, I'm not even sure why the pixel 5 exists, step back in many ways on pixel 4, soli, face unlock, squeeze for assistant all removed.

If you're using BLC, go for Currys gift cards. 6.5% vs 4% for Argos.
