I've got these great Huckley leather work shoes myself and can vouch for their quality. I think these (and others) are on final reduction, I paid £6 more in the sale a couple of weeks ago.

Can't really go wrong with these for work, still wearing a previous similar Clarkes pair I bought 18 months ago.

I'm 14 stone and there's hardly any wear on the sole and they're still waterproof.

Free returns and you can try them on in store and return via the store if you need to. All sizes (inc. half sizes) from 6 to 11 were available when I posted

Others

Gadwell Stride £24
Huckley Spring £24
Latch Dock £24
Lair Cap £24
Torbay Lace £18

Most shoes are made in India. £60 was surely a joke for these at full price.

Yeah probably £60 was when they were made in Britain before brexit.
They are made in India, so was my old pair before Brexit lol. Still excellent quality. Most European shoes I've tried are made in Portugal, more expensive and absolute ****.

They have not been made in the UK for years. I always buy during July for my sons as the prices come down.
Lair Cap was as low as £20 before. Now £24. Let's see of these £24 shoes drop to £20!
I simply cannot justify £60 for a pair!

No neither can I, which is why I posted them at £24!! I think there's £60's worth of quality though looking at the lack of obvious wear on my 18 month old one's. There's hardly a crease in the leather.
good deal, heat added

My son's last no more than 9 months before they fall apart. Better than 6 weeks for Matalan and Brantano's entry level shoes. The Clarks' still work out cheaper with a bit of comfort. In my view they are not £60 quality and are worth no more than £30. I stocked up the £24 ones.

9 months! Either he has foot rot then or he drags his feet. Get him some clogs maybe

On one pair the sole came off. The glue was not sufficient. Is this his fault or poor Clarks shoes?
They gave a £10 voucher (wow!)
No happened to me + you are stocking up on them so you must think they are good and it's only happened to one pair. Clogs are nailed so as long as your son doesn't go wave chasing in the sea the nails should last. If not I'll send you some nails to save any whingeing.
